As is the nature of comedy, I find that Keroro Gunso often ends up leaving a lot to the imagination. There are a lot of things I wonder about and wish would be explained, mostly about character motivation and backgrounds and such, but answers never seem to come. Granted, I'm not really far enough into the series yet so I guess I might learn a thing or two eventually, but still...
What about you? Are there things about the story/characters that you wish would be explained, or if it has been explained, perhaps elaborated on more than it was? (lol, plot holes in the story don't count! This is Keroro we're talking about here!)

One question I always wanted answered was; How did Giroro get his scar? After a little digging around I heard several rumors that he had gotten it in a fight with keroro.. But really?? I haven't seen it anywhere so far and everyone that says that hasn't supplied an episode number or even manga chapter to back up what they're saying.

That rumors sounds like when the Major Motoko got one of her men when they first met as enemies.

The only place I've seen that mentioned it is in the second manga in the "All About Corporal Giroro" page.

I've been wondering about Giroro's scar and Natsumi and Fuyuki's dad too! I don't know about the scar but as far as their dad is concerned, there's something about the way he's subtly mentioned from time to time and he's only ever shown as a silhouette that makes me think that he might become a bit of a plot point somewhere down the line.
I always wonder about where Tamama came from. I've read all over the place that he witnessed the platoon as a child and was inspired to join from that but where does that come from? Was it in the manga? (This is me, really having no clue)

Tamama was inspired after seeing Keroro (first platoon) battle the black stars. It could be in the Anime but I'm still looking for the episode. sweatdrop

I'm honestly not certain all I know is that some platoon containing Keroro, Giroro, Zeroro, and two others and something else to do with evil keronians (black stars) and Tamama saw it and begian to idiolize Keroro.
I not even certain if it was even in the Anime. Its manly rumor based.

Okay,so I've been reading more of the manga and I'm definitely finding that it's providing way more answers than the anime (odd as it is to say about anything related to Keroro, the manga does seem to take itself a little more seriously than the anime at times). For example, a weird little character vignette confirms that Giroro's scar came from an altercation with Keroro (although it doesn't say how)/ I'm kind of amazed at how DIFFERENT Kururu is too. Still, I feel like for every question it answers, it brings up another one. Likem apparently Tamama has bad memories attached to his tail? what the? One step foreward and two steps back!

Kappaninja This all happened BEFORE the platoon now was formed. I mean, if there was the original platoon, and then tamama saw them and was inspired, they must've split up in order for Kururu and Tamama to join right?
