It has been ten years since the Third Great Ninja War took place, leaving all villages in ruins. Konohagakure, once a great military power, has now decresed in size and strength with most of its elite ninja's dead. While some members still survive, Konoha has become a shadow of its former self. Normally, this would mean that all he other nations would become anatagonists and try to take over Konoha, but alas, the other nations are not faring so well either: Suna and Iwa have been reduced to mere numbers, Oto and Kumo have been virtually destroyed with only a few survivors while Kirigakure has been wiped out entirely. The whole state of Japan has been merely devastated with the wars.

The Third Ninja War took place just a few years after Tsunade became the Fifth Hokage. According to the official records, she had not obtained the most popular rating in the business aspects of Konoha. Being more interested in her ninja and not the village as a whole, Tsunade was charactarized as an enemy to capitalism. In fact, she was doing what she thought was correct in the New World. She was using most of the budget to strengthen her military, while thinking little to nothing of the monetary issues surroundig the village. This was very disturbing to the business men of Konoha. Using there power over some of the ninja in the village, they elected a leader amongst themselves named Saboyu. Saboyu was a tradesman who had made billions of yen distributing goods to foreign countries. However, there were speculations that the man did not only distribute goods, but also weapons and drugs, citing that he had backed many failed coups in his time such as the famous one in Kiri. Saboyu, however, had remained free since almost no evidence could be found. With the backing of the other men, Saboyu proclaimed himself Feudal Lord and stated a coup against Konoha.

Normally, Tsunade would deal with the issue herself, but Saboyu had a trick up his sleeve. Using his immense wealth, Saboyu managed to bribe the village of Oto and Kiri to side with him and help him stage a coup against Tsunade and all of Konoha. The now once small civil war had erupted into World War. Knowing that Konoha was in no position to handle a war on three fronts, Tsunade allied with long time allied Suna and Iwa. The Kazekage Gaara himself traveled to Suna to take on the Kiri Front, while Iwa dealed with Kumo.

The War itself and how many people died have been erased from the pages of history.

Present Time: Shikamaru has been proclaimed the Sixth Hokage with the death of Tsunade and Hokage-hopeful Naruto. Sasuke and Sakura have been made Sannin. Rock Lee, Ten Ten and Neji have been made Jounin, along with Chouji and Ino. Shino and Kiba have been injured in action. Hinata stayed as a Chuunin and is now in charge of the Academy.

With the rebuild of Konoha and the rest of the land, things seem to finally be in peace. Whether Chaos will return; is still a mystery...

Konoha Main District
2:25 PM, Monday
10 Years after The Third Ninja War

Shikon sleeping on the tallest branch of the biggest tree of the main district..Opened his eyes to his best friend wagging his tale..This had meant many things, but not this time.. Kizu's tail was wagging because earlier the sound of his master's stomach was one of hunger.. So it brought him joy that his master woke up to eat and not to train like they have been for several days until now..

Kizu licked his master on the nose and barked twice..

Shikon smiled and kissed Kizu in the nose.. "Alright buddy i hear you.. Lets eat some ramen.. But after wards straight back to training. Today is the last day we have with Master Lee until the Jonin Exams where we will get a new Sensai.. Lee Sensai will be mad if we're late again.."

Kizu barked one more time as to confirm the deal.. As they both jumped down their bed away from home to head for the Ramen shop..

OHHHHHH MAN Where late!!!! Shikon screamed with Ramen noodles flying out of his mouth.. He jumped off his seat leaving the Ramen shop with out paying for the food grabbing Kizu and placing him on his head..

Kizu opening his mouth letting off an arff arff of apology to his owner..

Don't give me that i was hungry too remember.. And its not my fault we ate 40 bowls of ramen..

Kizu smiled barking twice as the shop owner yelled at Shikon for not paying for the food.. Ohhh you were apologizing to him ..

Sorry I swear ill pay you back when i finish my training ramen shop guy.. I swear it.. As Shikon jumped up in the air completely disappearing in a blink of an eye..

Back at the training ground Rock Lee sensei smiled as he punch what would have been nothing but air as Shikon appear right in front of his teacher.. But instead of getting his face punched in like he almost always did Shikon grabbed his Sensei's fist..

Lee was impressed his smile grew as he could see that his young misunderstood pupil was practicing all night.. But Lee then looked down showing Shikon his other fist at his stomach.. You should pay more attention to your blind spots young Shikon, and stop being late to my class..

But Shikon smiled as a little blood came out of his mouth.. You shouldn't underestimate your's.. Lee looked behind him as a fist flew towards his face stopping a inch away.. My partner has my back but not your's
What seemed to be Shikon with a fist at Lee senseis face turned back To Kizu..

Where ready for training sensei..

Renji walked up the the leaf villages main gate.

So this is the leaf village eh? Much smaller then Temari said it was.

His back hurt from carrying his puppet during the journey from the sand village.

Man I hope this village makes some good old fashioned onigiri, i'm starving!


Renji walked inside the leaf villages main gate and was suddenly stopped by 2 leaf shinobi guarding the gate. 1 of the guards went up to Renji with his hand on his kunai pouch strap.

Halt! Who are you and what is your business here?

My name is Renji, I come from the hidden sand village on orders from kazekage Temari. I am here to enlist in the Special Shinobi Team program where I will be bringing my skills and experience as a sand shinobi into one of the newly formed leaf village teams.

I apologize Renji, we have gotten word before hand foretelling your arrival. The hokage can't see you right now due to a meeting so feel free to look around the town for the time being. We will send someone for you once the meeting is finished.

Heh..Thats my uncle for ya, always to busy to see a relative. Ah well thats fine, guess i will find a place for me to get some onigiri and tea.

Renji walked through the streets of Konoha. He felt somewhat uneasy due to the fact that everyone seemed to be staring at him due to his strange clothing, face paint, and of course the almost human sized "thing" wrapped up and attached to his back.

Renji quietly walks into the next nearest resturaunt to avoid the stares and whispering. He grabs a seat at a table and takes off the object on his back sighing in relief and stretching his back. He places the wrapped object at the wall right next to his chair and grabs a menu.

This looks like a good place to get some food. We will wait here until uncle Shika calls for me. That alright with you......dad?

lei reaches in a seemingly empty pocket and with a poof of smoke pulls out a doggy treat and gives it to kizu "here you go boy"puts it in his mouth and kizu jumps off. lei gets up and brushes himself off (for no reason at all hes covered in filth from training) and walks towards rock lee and shikon and thinks to himself "so glad i have all those summoning seals in my pockets or i wouldnt have been able to move, god that dog is strong" as he walks by kizu patting the now satisfied with treat 4laugh dog on his head. Lei takes his place next to shikon and sits down. Lee gets up and starts pacing "good now that you're BOTH here" he says as he stare a shikon seriously then smirks " i wanna say something" he stops pacing and looks down as he remembers...."you guys" lee clenches his fist as he chokes back tears "HAD TO HAVE BEEN SOME OF MY BEST STUDENTS YET!" he says as he does a pose hailing the peace
sign at them still choking back tears as he smiles. "I'm going to miss being your sensei very VERY much!" shikon looks at lei in annoyance and disbelief kinda motioning look at this guy as lei thinks to himself "god he did the same thing last time we saw each other". lee then grabs all three of them unknowingly choking them as he hugs them and starts yelling as tears spray from his eyes "TODAYS THE LAST DAY WE TRAIN TOGETHER AS ME FOR YOUR SENSAI SO ITS GOING TO BE THE LONGEST HARDEST OF THEM ALL
YOUR GOING TO TRAIN UNTIL YOU MASTER THE TECHNIQUE OR UNTIL YOU CANT WALK FOR TWO DAY WHICH EVER COMES FIRST!!!" He releases the cousins as they gasp for air and says with his chest puffed out and his hands on his hips tears still streaming down his face "alright lets do this get ready guys lets warm up then tomorrow i want you two to do something for me"
