So lately I've been pounded by some incredibly young and immature Gaians, which brings me back to one of the reasons I wasn't interested in staying here when I first joined back in 2005. xd
I'm afraid a lot of us (since the majority of us who are active are 18+ if I remember correctly?) would probably all be on these kids hate lists, because--GOD FORBID!!!!!--we are over, say, 16? This is the first time in a long time I've been told that I'm "too told to be on Gaia" which not only kind of offends me because I'm not old!! I'm only 20 that's not old!
I also know that some other members have been pounded by these immature kiddos as well, and I'll admit that I was immature right back (for a while, at least) and commented back a couple of times, however I did think about it, and stop commenting back, just because I wasn't acting my age.
º Anyway, when is enough enough?
º Is there an age where you're too old for Gaia? (I don't think so!)
º What about things like Unicorns? I was told I was too old to have a Unicorn in my avi. So does this mean that I can't like unicorns? I sleep with four stuffed animals in my bed, and have three dolls that I take with me even on vacations.
º KIDS THESE DAYS???????

I've noticed some of these kids on other peoples profiles, and it makes me feel happy that I keep my profile and PM friends only! Some of these kids are downright rude, and actually some of them just seem really stupid! They get angry at you and make up some story how their morbidly depressed if you ignore them.
Also, I've noticed that there are a lot of the "Aren't you too old to be here/like this thing." kids too. We're on Gaia the same reason they are; because we like it.
And I will totally repeat what you said - kids these days.

Well I'm almost 25 and don't plan on leaving Gaia any time soon. I've seen some older Gaian hate and I don't consider myself old. It's kind of weird going into a topic and seeing "If you are over 17 you should get off of Gaia." Whatever...I just ignore the immaturity.

Yeah, I ignore all of it for the most part, but this is the first time anyone has actually come to me and been like, "you're too old to be here/too old to like this." and I was just like 0_o.
It's crazy how immature some kids are though!

Biyanka I changed the title of the thread because I just realized that I totally sent an email with the subject being the original title of this thread last night, and this thread is the title of the email I meant to send out. Ahhh. You're so funny. I hang out mostly in guilds and have my profile private, so I usually don't notice the immaturity.

Grr Kids these days.
i totally know where you are coming from B. it pisses me right off some times. i mean most of the time the people i chat with on gaia are 20+ because they are the ones that can carry on a good conversation and debate things where as the kids seem to just bump and act dumb. i hang out in my guilds and i have a few of them that i love and that i run. i prefer the ones that i am on the crew or captain of because if one of "those" kids get in, even though i ask for a reason for why they want to join the guild they can still end up being annoying and then i can ban them and i feel better about weeding them out. the thing is there are a lot of older people on gaia. i have met and chatted with 40 year olds on here so i mean whys the big deal. besides the young ones don't hang around long they get very tired of being ignored and move to other places! heehee.

Oh B, i had to tell you this cause i laughed histerically when i saw it. so she (the girl that called us old) is still posting on my wall but i am ignoring her completely. i don't understand why she hasn't gotten the hint that i have no use for her and that i delete her posts! but thats not the funny part. so i went to her profile just for shits and at the top of the page is your avi with a sign that says.
"This a hater. She blocked me
and put me on a stalker list!
I was trying ot be friends
with her! Oh well!"
I laughed so hard! I think i am going to PM her and kindly ask her to not bother me anymore and that if she is going to put hater comments up on her profile about my friends that i too will be blocking her because she is rude and young and i have no time for foolishness like that.

But then she seen that someone (I'll call her C) else had recently visited my profile, wrote on their wall going, "Isn't biyanka a b***h!?!?!!?!?!?!?!?! She put us both on a stalker list!" when that's what I've had my recent visitors list as since that feature came out!! Well, one of C's friends seen the girl who called us old comment about me being a b***h, he got mad and spammed my profile last night (I ended up deleting like 20 comments!) and called me ugly and so on. Well, Rami seen it. XD She sent all three of them a nasty comment (GO RAMI!) and then this afternoon when I signed on Gaia, I got everything set up with the two people, who realized that the girl who called us old had manipulated them, thinking I was a b***h, and that's why he spammed my profile. I am totally leaving the rest of the comments up there for kicks, to look back and just start laughing super hard XD. It's absolutely hilarious though. Dude read the comments on my profile (Teh_Bovril is my friend, don't mind her XD) and just enjoy they're extremely funny!

I don't mind if someone on here is 13 or 30, as long as they're nice and behave themselves they can do whatever they want on gaia.

Whew, Internet drama makes me feel years younger XD.
Some people can be downright rude and it just kills me how rude/immature people can be. I feel sorry for their parents.
I don't mind the ages of people. There are one that I talk to who are in their 30s or 40s and some who are younger than 16 who I like.

I feel incredibly young but incredibly stupid with all the Internet Drama. But dude, people can be incredibly immature. I honestly think my five year olds are more mature. 0_0

I just wonder what makes people think that can act like that. I think that they think they can hide behind the computer screen and no one can find them, so they can be rude away. In real life, they're cowards.
