How many of you have air blades? I say them in a catalog, and I thought they looked awesome! Are they a lot of fun? Is there a lot of moves to do with them?

I'm planing on buying one within a couple of weeks, namely before band camp so I'll tell you about them as soon as i can. They do look awesome!

IT ARRIVED! It's pretty easy to deal with, similar to a rifle but is lighter than my rifle. Right now it feels a little awkward but I think it'll go away after a while.

I remmeber seeing a group at championships with them, it was pretty cool but my fellow guard members didn't seem to like them...

airblades are so much easier bcs the air does not affect them like it does the rifles and they dont weigh like anything at all but they dont count at all during winterguard just like batons they look cool but dont count. sad we did wizard of oz and painted the neon green and then for the christmas parade we painted them red and pretty much put stripes on it with white guard tape (or electric tape) surprised heart guard is awesome and we are having tryouts right now i am deeply terrified of the new people. eeeeee eek

Meh. Airblades are a waste at this point in time because unless you have some really creative people on you team the only thing you can do is throw them. It is like someone being inexperienced with a rifle, it's not interesting at all. I'm not happy my BD is ordering some because it is my first year as captain and I don't want to be the idiot that tries to find new uses for them.
