The northern part of Dredental was covered in lush forests, unlike the desolate desert of the south. Lush was a relative term, however, as the trees were twisted and dark with creepy shadows playing tricks on the travellers. The northern forest was full of wildlife, some surprisingly harmless while other surprisingly harmful. Stories were told of trolls and orcs wandering the woods in search for their next meal.
The foest was a place for many treasures, one of which was the destination of a young thief who had decided to brave the dangers and attempt to retreive the rewards.
((ooc: come up with an item that will suit and be useful for your character, Ace, if it is overpowered I will tweak it a bit, so don't worry about making it too strong. You should probably have some sort of an old map too))

Fang sat high in one of the trees in the old forest. It's leaves were gone and its fruit long past dead, however the elf sitting in it was quite content. She felt at home or as at home as she will ever feel. She was resting now after a long walk. She was now on quest given to her by a man she only know as the keeper. He gave her no more then a tattered map and a "key" as he claimed.
She sighed and shook her head. What she will do to get by now days. She studdied the map and was more then baffled by its writing and riddles.
The sun was setting and it was getting dark. She was not frigheted by the things that go bump in the night, why she was one but she did need to find somewhere to camp out.

Branches of trees swooshed past as a slightly phased out figure moved quickly through the forest. His movements were a bit too sudden and arbitrary, so it seemed. There was no shadow from his shape, only a breeze passing by and moving anything light enough to be affected. His figure faded slowly, untill only the breeze was left as evidence of his presence.
Lucimorth's spirit with roaming the woods, enough of it to form a consciousness, not as powerful as his body, it was far beyond mortal measures and understanding.
He moved close to an artifact of some value, it was bound to draw treasure hunters at some point, why one was on her way right now. Lucimorth followed the path of the energy thread of her search towards the woman.

Fang's legs swung from the tree, still peering at the map with the last gleam of the sun now fading from the sky. She looked up and watched as it set.
"Hmmm." She said. She rolled up the map giving up for now. She placed it in her pack hidden under her cloak. She jumpped down from the branches with out a sound. She stood up and streched much like a cat.
"Has to be some sort of life around here somewhere." She thought now walking through the woods.

This is one of those moments when you wonder why in all of this green forest did I buy all that armor. Rayvan stared at the full plate armor that donned her very low leveled skeleton bodyguard if you will. Tilting her head looking at the thing you would have never guessed it had a skeleton inside instead of a living thing. Looking down at herself all she could do was grumble. 'here I stand in regular clothing with a little bit of armor, haha...you can't call this armor its really old leather with bits of metal on it.' Rayvan had a thing of talking within her own mind and for the most part she really could tell if she was speaking out loud unless someone commented to her that she wasn't saying anything. Magic doesn't work with armor, it was the first thing she learned the hard way. Yes, even a great intelligence that came with her short stature, she did have blond moments. Rayvan was rather short even for an elf standard, only coming to about four foot eight inches, but even inch of her was lean muscle. Its wasn't that she was strong, not by a long shot, but she didn't like being flabby. Something about being fat always made Rayvan cringe, she didn't want to end up some short round person that couldn't run like a bat out of hell if need be. Rubbing her fingers along her nice simple bow, she frowned wondering what she could do up in this place that would be of some use. In her pocket was an old map, looking at it, she had memorized the details before the old woman had really convinced her to purchase the thing. The second thing she was given with the map was the bow within her grasp. The woman had told her that it was special, and might save her life. "Yah right," she spoke outloud as she noticed and arrow and crudely aimed it at a 'tree'. But being not to stupid within her own right, Rayvan had made sure it wasn't an ent because ticking one of those creatures off was bad for her and her tin can. Letting lose the arrow at the tree, she stared in both happiness and disbelieving at the result. (( -crosses fingers for bow of accuracy- ))

Rayvan stared at the arrow that struck the notch she wasn't really aiming for but then again she was thinking about it being a good target, "ehehe...I can hit the side of a barn now," she chuckled rather excitedly to herself as she walked over and tried to reach the arrow. Unfortunately for her, one she as too short and two, the arrow as wedged and she did not have the strength to pull it out. Looking between the arrow and the rather large skeleton henchman. She grumbled and stepped tripping over the obvious tree root and landing on her butt. Sighing as she stood brushing off her black leather pants, she ordered the skeleton to get her arrow and not break it. The skeleton fetched her arrow without much difficulty which made Rayvan feel slightly depressed. 'damn my shortness,' she thought as the skeleton lumbered over and handed her the arrow. Slipping it back into her quiver, she began to wonder deeper into the forest.

*snap*
Fang turned around. She wasn't alone it seemed.
"Hmmmm." She thought. She closed her eyes and focused. Her hands were covered by a black aroura and began to glow. Soon her body melted into vaper as the whole forest floor was now covered in fog.
A laugh was heard from the fog as she waited.

Rayvan sending out her skeleton guard out first to make sure the way was safe heard a sudden clanking sound. Rounding the rock face, she saw a giant lizard chomping down on her skeleton, 'better him than me,' she thought as she was about to leave and hope the creature didn't notice. Suddenly the thought dawned on her. 'That skeleton is wearing all my money!' turning around she crept up and began to try and conjure a chicken. 'chick, no....' her first attempt at chicken turned into a duck, 'no... cow... no.. sheep... no... ahhhh crap,' she fumbled through her conjuring finally getting a rather large dog sized chicken. "Oh well.." Cutting off its head with her small dagger, which took a bit since the chicken was literaly dragging her around the clearing getting the baby dragons attention that was for sure. Looking up at the dragon, her eyes wide, "umm....chicken?" she offered getting off the chicken and motioning to the dragon to take the chicken. The dragon gobbled it up, happily as it exploded causing the baby dragon to burp. Rayvan ducked and covered her head, as she looked up the dragon was wagging its tail like a dog wanting more. Sighing she sat up and looked around the dragon, her skeleton acting like a person after one to many drinks before falling over. Sighing she managed to conjure a chicken on the first try and tossed it to the dragon who ate it happy. "Aww...man," she said as she stood and began to walk towards her skeleton, the baby dragon following. Conjuring another chicken she tossed it into the dragon's open and waiting mouth. "Why meee," she whined unhappily knowing it was going to follow her every where now.

Fang saw a small elf run through her as well as a dragon which seemed to be following her. Fang thought this could be qutie a treat and what was more or less slithered after them.
She found them in a clearing and watched as the little elf threw chickens at the dragon. Thinking it would be entertaining she used her powers to make the waether take a turn for the worst.
Dark and dreadful clouds now formed over head. Behind her a skeleton was stumbling it seems to catch up with the elf. Fangs eyes sparkled when she noticed all the money bags hanging off it.
And with a sudden gust of wind the bags became untied and fell into Fangs mist.

Rayvan frowned as she conjured an umbrella and looked up at the dragon that was whining because it didn't like the rain. Sighing she walked behind it and climbed up its tail, trying her best not to fall on her head. Settling on top, she made her umbrella huge, fixing it on top of the dragon so that its head and body was covered. Grumbling as she kicked her skeleton in the shoulder, noticing the teeth marks on the new full plate armor. Sighing she helped the skeleton up the best she could (completely covered so it looks human). Not being much help, she got a brilliant idea. Conjuring a chicken on the skeleton, she motioned on the dragon to get it. The skeleton, as brainless as it was jumped up and tossed the chicken into the dragon's open and waiting mouth. Rayvan giggled, being a short elf in stature she did seem to find ways to deal with life. Realizing she was getting soaked, she stumbled under the dragon's head and tossed up a conjured chicken. "In the end, there better be....ohh coffee," she thought happily as she somehow told the baby dragon to pick her up and set her on its back. It lifted her part way with its arm, but she had to get the rest of the way up herself. Sitting down, she concentrated on conjuring coffee. 'coffee... no milk, ick ...no ale ..ohh coffee," she grinned happily as she began to drink her coffee, throwing conjured chicken in front of the baby dragon to make it walk, and since she was weak that wasn't very far at a time. The skeleton lumbered on in front dodging flying chickens.

Fang was no courious as to what this elf was up to. Her job could wait this may prove to be more profitable she thought. She slithered in her foggish form close enough to hear the elf speak.
All this talk of coffee was making Fang quite hungry.

Rayvan sighed as she stopped throwing her chickens so the baby dragon would stop. "I can sense you," she spoke gently hearing the faint sound of someone's stomach growling. Sliding down off the dragon trying not to fall on her face and failing. She sighed and stood up, brushing herself off as she waited to a rock, and conjured a umbrella to keep the food dry, as she conjured a huge bowl of beef stew and a huge cup of coffee. Rayvan might not be the nicest person some days but she knew what it was like going hungry. Walking back over to the dragon she figured walking would be best to save herself from falling flat on her elven face again.
Conjuring chickens she tossed them forwards the dragon beginning to move once again, at its usual slow dragon pace. ((hehe...you get money, I get baby dragon that likes chickens))
Rayvan didn't know why she came to this forest but the only lady said it was a good place to grow stronger and get someone of use.
