Balmorran Arms is an ancient company predating the Clone Wars that was bought by a mysterious benefactor. The factory was put back to work producing weapons for the various warring factions existing in the galaxy. However, that is not all the factory produces weapons for since the mysterious benefactor was in fact the leader of the criminal organization Crimson Sun. A portion of the weapons produced are taken to be distributed to the thugs of the organization or are then sold on the black market for an extra profit. These disappearances are chalked up to overproduction or miscalculation and are then written off as lost product.
