So yeah, the first of my summer programs starts on TUESDAY! June 10th, from 2-4 pm. We'll be learning two para para routines. At least, that's the plan, it may or may not work out, we'll see.
So, if you don't know, para para is a dance style from Japan. It's most often done in Shibuya, the fashion central of Tokyo. It involves lots of nifty hand movements and very simple stepping, and it's done to techno pop music like on DDR, called Super Euro-beat. It's fun stuff. If you like DDR music, you'll like Para para, I promise. I'll give you a quarter if you don't. razz
There's lots of videos on youtube about it, but I will be breaking down and teaching a few of the routines for you guys. Hope you come! If you have any questions, let me know.

Para para is quite fun.
Also, we probably won't be learning anything by Hinoi Team, because basically, they're just idols who are doing their own thing. I'm not sure their dances are sanctioned in the clubs and stuff.

Deluxe is really cute, and I rather like Express Love too, and I really wanna do Go Beat Crazy, but it's pretty hard, so we may not get to it.

Para para is on Tuesday.
I almost have deluxe down. There's just a few parts I'm not familiar enough with yet. I can follow along on it, but I can't lead it yet.
Still need to work on Express Love.
