Aqualish: The Aqualish are a walrus-faced race of bipeds from the planet Ando. There are two castes of Aqualish society. The higher caste has hands which are articulated webs with opposable thumbs, and is known as the Quara. The lower caste has clawed hands, rather than the webbed ones, and is known as the Aquala. The distinction between levels is very great; webbed Aqualish hold governmental and commercial positions, while the clawed Aqualish are usually left to become bounty hunters and smugglers.
They are a belligerent yet technologically advanced race. The Aquala live in vast sailing ships, while the Quara live on the planet's small islands. They have a long history of civil war, and have destroyed Ando's sister planet because of it. The war was initiated by the Aquala, who blamed the Quara for the declining harvests of fish. The war lasted until an exploration ship landed on Ando. The two groups banded together and killed the ship's crew. Eventually, the non-technical Aqualish discovered how to fly the ship, and even learned how to build their own.
The old grudges soon re-surfaced, though, and the two factions took their battle to Ando's sister planet. When the Empire arrived, the war-loving Aqualish tried to overthrow them. The sheer might of the Empire battered the Aqualish into submission, but it instilled a deep hatred in the Aqualish culture.

Arcona: Arcona, sometimes singular Arconan, were scaleless reptiles with humanoid bodies. Hailing from the desert planet of Cona in the Teke Ro system, they had poor eyesight, despite their large eyes, and had a small organ between their eyes which, often mistaken for their nose, helped them to see.
Easily addicted to salt, their lifespan was roughly the same as a Human's. The Arcona lived in a family based community, where the males took care of the young, as the females were generally reckless and thrill-seeking. Despite not being a particularly technological species, by the time the Galactic Empire rose to power Arcona could be seen in every corner of the galaxy.

Barbel: The Barabel evolved from a vicious reptilian species and maintain their hunting culture. On average, they stand 2 meters tall and weigh around 130 kilograms. Jagged, overlapping, black keratin scales cover their bodies protecting them from bites, blaster bolts, and radiation, and the Barabel are said to be able to shed their tails when necessary. Due to the planetary harsh radiation, they are forced to hunt at night and their eyesight has adapted, allowing them to see perfectly in utter darkness. They also have a layer of fat that retains heat, so they fight well in both sun-baked heat and freezing cold temperatures .Barabel are famously mean-spirited. This normally manifests itself in direct physical confrontation, but Barabel have no qualms with property destruction, traps, indirect fire, or even crueler tactics. Outsiders often confuse Barabel viciousness with stupidity, though that is a foolish mistake, and often their last.

Bothan: Bothans are manipulative, crafty, suspicious and curious by nature, and a little paranoid. They can be irritating, but they are also loyal and brave. Bothans have a reputation only for sly dealings, this race is in fact made up of an incredible loyal people They are covered with fur that ripples in response to their emotional state.
These short, fur-covered humanoids have had hyperspace travel for thousands of years and were among the first civilzations to join galactic society. Bothans deal in information. They use information as a measure of wealth and power, even wielding it as a weapon when necessary. The Bothan Spynet serves as one of the biggest intelligence agencies in the galaxy, and it plays an important and poignant role in the Sith occupation.Culturally, Bothans don't believe in direct conflict. They prefer to manipulate situations from behind the scenes, to watch and wait for information and opportunity, and to use these tools to gain status and influence.

Cerean: Cereans were a sophisticated and cultured humanoid mammalian species that hailed from the planet Cerea in the Mid Rim. They had tall tapering heads, which housed large binary brains, enabling them to focus on many things at the same time. Aside from this unique feature, Cereans were physically similar to humans, although they possessed an extra heart, which supplied extra blood circulation to support their brains.
Cerean males aged more quickly than the females, who had similar lifespans to Humans. Thus, there were fewer males than females. Polygamous marriage was a necessity in order for the species to survive. Each male usually had one primary "bond-wife," and between four and ten "honor-wives."
Famous for their extraordinary thinking abilities, Cereans were often found among the ranks of the Jedi Knights, despite being exempt from the Jedi's vow of celibacy, due to their low birth rates. One such Jedi, Ki-Adi-Mundi, served the Jedi High Council during and prior to the outbreak of the Clone Wars.

Chagrian: The average Chagrian stood taller than a Human with blue skin ranging in tone from light blue to indigo. They were distinguished by two fleshy growths protruding from the sides of their heads, which they called lethorns. Males also sported two horns growing from the top of their skulls. These were once used in underwater duels to attract a mate, and were seen as a sign of the males' strength and virility. Chagrians also had very long black tongues. Chagrians were truly amphibious, retaining their ability to breathe underwater while also able to function without difficulty in air. They also possessed acute low-light vision.
Because of frequent exposure to Champala's oceans, Chagrians lose their sense of taste by adulthood. As a result they regard eating as an unfortunate nuisance rather than something to be looked forward to and enjoyed. As they have little interest in eating Chagrians will consume nutritional substances to replace meals. They carried sensors designed to scan for maximum nutritional value when forced to eat actual food.
Chagrians have a natural resistance to radiation. This dates back to a period of solar instability coinciding with the early evolution of life on Champala. The entire star system was bombarded with intense radiation, and only those lifeforms most able to withstand the bombardment survived.

Though they were rendered nearly extinct during the Great Sith War, remnant populations were seen regularly for millennia, using their natural abilities to their advantage as elite assassins, mercenaries, or similar professions.

Devaronian: Devaronians were a horned humanoid species from the world of Devaron in the Expansion Region, a planet of low mountains and deep valleys linked by thousands of rivers. It is believed that they were descended from a race of primates that lived in the mountains of Devaron, and that their horns were a genetic mutation that proved useful in fending off predatory birds.
The Devaronians were one of the more unusual races in the galaxy, with a dramatic gender dimorphism in appearance and temperament. The males were docile, non-aggressive creatures, completely hairless, with typically red-tinted skin and a pair of large horns growing from their heads. They took great pride in their horns, and groomed them quite regularly.
Female Devaronians were covered in thick fur that ranged in color from brown to white, and had only small vestigial horns. They were aggressive by nature, and tended to be dominant in their culture, being the only ones allowed in government and politics.
In addition, the teeth of the males were all sharp incisors, but the females also had molars and prominent canines. One in fifty Devaronian males had two sets of teeth, however, having an inner set of sharp "male" teeth and an outer, retractable set of "female" teeth. In primitive times, such males were used as solitary scouts by Devaronian tribes, since they could survive on either meat or plants. Males also had an extremely long tongue though whether females shared this trait is unknown.

Elomin: The Elomin were horned humanoids from Elom who lived on the surface of the planet. They were thought by some xenoarchaeologists to be descended from a lost colony of Zabrak who settled Elom in the distant past.
The Elomin lived on the surface of their planet while another sentient species—the Elom—lived underground. The Elom used to live on the surface but were forced to move underground when water became scarce.
Since then, they remained isolated from the rest of the galaxy, with many Eloms continuing to retreat further underground.
When the Elomins re-discovered the Eloms, they tried to make the Galactic Republic believe that they were only unintelligent animals. The truth was eventually discovered and Eloms were granted the rights of any other sentient species. However, Eloms seemed not to be interested in politics, and continued to live in burrows. The Elomin rule Elom and represented the planet offworld. Notable Elomin included Verrinnefra B’thog Indriummsegh, a signatory to the Declaration of a New Republic and a member of the New Republic Provisional Council.
Elomin strove to find order in things and work to create order where none exist. Therefore they were unable to cope with the unstructured attack of a perfectly executed Marg Sabl maneuver.

Epicanthix: The Epicanthix were tall, muscular, dark-haired Near-Humans native to the Outer Rim Territories world of Panatha, in the Pacanth Reach. The Epicanthix were known as warriors, having conquered many neighboring planets in the Reach, such as Bunduki. Epicanthix were known to live longer than humans, even longer than Force Sensitive humans; their average lifespan is near 130 years. The species is a near-Human race.

Ewok: Ewoks were sentient, ingenious, diminutive furry bipeds native to the forest moon of Endor. They were most notable for helping the Rebel Alliance defeat the forces of the Galactic Empire at the Battle of Endor, allowing the shield generator there to be destroyed, and in turn, the second Death Star.
Ewoks were curious individuals that stood about one meter tall; they were omnivorous and used spears, slings, and knives as weapons; they also used hang gliders, battle wagons, and bordoks as vehicles. Ewoks had large, bright eyes, small black noses, and hands that possessed two fingers and an opposable thumb.
Although extremely skilled in forest survival and the construction of primitive technology like gliders and catapults, the Ewoks had yet to progress past stone-level technology when discovered by the Empire. They were quick learners, however, when exposed to advanced technology with simple mechanical processes and concepts. Some Ewoks were removed from their planet and taken as pets or slaves.Others left voluntarily out of a sense of curiosity, especially after the Battle of Endor led to the establishment of New Republic trading posts on the Forest Moon.

Falleen: The Falleen were an exotic, cold-blooded reptilian species known to be long lived, with life spans averaging 250 years.
The sleek symmetry of their features, calculating and cold demeanors, their exotic looks, and their ability to alter their skin pigmentation meant that the Falleen were often considered to be among the most aesthetically pleasing beings in the galaxy. In addition to their strikingly beautiful appearance, the Falleen naturally exuded pheromones which made them all but irresistible to both sexes, as evidenced when Quinlan Vos fell under the influence of a male Falleen's pheromones. They had small scales all over their bodies, as well as slightly clawed fingers and toes. In addition, the Falleen displayed prominent facial and spinal ridges, though females tended to have slighter, more subtle growths.
The Falleen were semi-aquatic, and were able to hold their breath underwater for a long period of time, leading exobiologists to believe that the Falleen's ancestors were completely aquatic. The appearance of breasts and other mammalian characteristics in Falleen females and males have also led exobiologists to believe that Falleen share a mammal ancestor with Humans.
They were one of the few species resistant to mind tricks, and had green blood.

Farghul: The Farghul were felinoid sapients indigenous to Farrfin.
They were covered with tawny fur and possessed prehensile tails. They had a reputation for being both fearsome fighters as well as cunning thieves. They became quite fearful of the Jedi Knights after the destruction of a smuggling base on their homeworld during the times of the Galactic Republic. They were also distrustful of politicians and were considered slightly xenophobic. Despite this they were known to friends as mischievous as well as playful beings who loved telling bad jokes. They also were known to rig games which was where their reputation for being cheaters, con artists and thieves originated from. Though upon being caught, those Farghul would often return their illicit winnings but this did not stop them from gaining a bad reputation in the galaxy. Farghul where extremely self-conscious about their appearance, and often wore elaborate clothes or jewelery.

Gamorrean: Gamorrean males averaged about 1.8 meters in height and could weigh more than 100 kilograms. They had thick snouts, close set eyes, tusks and two small horns on their heads. Their average body temperature was 40,56 °C (105 °F) and their verbal tones ranged from 50 to 13,000 hertz.
Although a typical Gamorrean was squat, green and heavily built not all shared these characteristics. Most Gamorreans had a dark greenish coloration over a large portion of their bodies; however skin coloration did vary, particularly among females, with light skinned and two-toned pigmentation not uncommon. Black, brown, pinkish yellow, and even a rare white pigmentation were possible. Boars tended to have less skin variation and had a greater tendency towards dark green skin perhaps because of their higher exposure to the radiation of the Gamorr Star. Eye coloration varied evenly between gold-yellow, blue, black and brown. The Gamorreans generally put no importance on skin or eye coloration although there were some superstitions linked to certain markings.
Not all Gamorreans were heavy and squat. Although this was the most common and generally the desirable appearance in Gamorrean society some individuals were comparatively lean and tall. Greel, co-owner of the The Broken Tusk on Reuss VIII, was quite undersized compared to his brother Gorge who represented a more conventional Gamorrean appearance.
They were largely viewed as mindless, intellectually inferior brutes by the wider galactic community. This perception may have been partly due to their physiology, which made it nearly impossible for them to speak Galactic Basic. Their vocal apparatus made it impossible for them to speak clearly in any language other than their native dialect.
Gamorreans were typically covered by a number of parasitic bloodsuckers native to Gamorr called morrts. They showed great affection for the creatures and considered them adorable pets. The number of morrts that a Gamorrean hosted was related to their status within a clan. A clan Warlord or Matron could have up to 20 of these parasites feeding on them.
The Gamorrean diet mainly consisted of fungus that grew plentifully on their homeworld. A species of mobile mushrooms called Snoruuk was one of the most widely eaten varieties along with Fug. They drank an alcoholic beverage called Potwa beer.
Newly born Gamorreans were called "feeders" until they were weaned. Once weaned the younglings were called "shoats" until the age of 3 when they begun gender specific training. Gamorrean childhood ended after about 6 years from which point they were considered young adults. When they reached the age of 13 they were considered mature adults and the boars would go to war. Biologically they were capable of living beyond the age of 45 but the violent nature of their existence meant that very few boars reached that age.

Gand: The Gands are a species of sentient life that has developed in the gases of the planet Gand. Able to survive in the various gases, they require a special breathing apparatus in order to survive in oxygen-based atmospheres. The lungs of the Gand are quite efficient, able to utilize nearly 85 percent of the atmosphere they breathe in with each breath.
The Gand have developed a totalitarian monarchy, and various colonies of Gand live in pockets of mist in the gas giant's atmosphere. When renegade Gand are sought, findsmen are sent out to locate them. When the Empire overran the planet, the findsmen were presented with advanced technology with which to hunt their targets. The better findsmen became bounty hunters.
The Gand hold their names in great reverence. A Gand who has accomplished nothing in his life is simply known as 'Gand'. When a Gand completes a task, they are given their family's surname. A further accomplishment provides the Gand with a proper name. Pronouns are almost never used, and are reserved for those famous Gand who have accomplished so much that their deeds are known by all. If a Gand does something to be ashamed of, or causes offense to another Gand, their name is reduced. It was discovered, after the Galactic Civil War, that the Gand have certain regenerative properties.

Gungan: The Gungans were separated into two races: the lanky orange or purple-skinned Otolla race, and the heavier green-skinned Ankura race. However, they all exhibited many of the same physical traits.
Starting life as tadpoles, Gungans developed into tall beings with extremely flexible cartilaginous skeletons (composed of resilient cartilage). Strong leg muscles and fin-like ears (called haillu) aided them in swimming and expressing aggression, friendship, and fear. They had partially retractable eyestalks with nictitating membranes when underwater.
Expressive faces and long bills with flaring nostrils were signatures of Gungan physiology. Lengthy muscular tongues and large blunt teeth allowed them to eat lesser amphibians, while a layer of tough skin on the head allowed for burrowing. A Gungan's arms ended in four digits, and their feet had three stubby toes. Females were smaller with sleeker faces and tended to tie their ears back. As male Gungans aged, some, like Roos Tarpals, developed prominent whiskers.
Gungans had nostrils that sealed when they entered the water. They also boasted compound lungs, allowing them to breathe both air and water, along with well-padded kneecaps and powerful calves and legs for increased swimming speed. However, because they were so well-adapted to their watery environment, their skin dried easily in hot and arid climates, which Jar Jar Binks experienced during his visit to Tatooine.
The Gungans appeared to be related to the Gungan Glurrgs, whom they used as a worker caste in their society.

Hapan: Hapans were the near-Human natives of the Hapes Cluster, a closely packed star cluster located in the Inner Rim of the galaxy. They differed from baseline Human stock in a number of ways, most notably in that they possessed poor night vision and were considered to be, on average, more attractive than was the typical Human standard for beauty. Due to the Transitory Mists that surround the Hapes Cluster, the Hapans were isolated from the rest of the galaxy both culturally and genetically.
Hapans were biologically the same as other Humans, however they possessed some key differences, the most prominent of which was that they were selectively bred over many generations to be beautiful. This was due to the fact that in 4,000 BBY, the pirates that originally ruled the Hapes Cluster captured and mated with the more attractive of the women they captured. Due to the isolation of the sixty-three inhabited worlds that made up their home, the whole population eventually became beautiful due to the limited gene pool.
Another trait that Hapans possessed was their night blindness. Because of the perpetual daylight of Hapes and other planets in the Cluster due to the density of stars in the region, the Hapans have lost all ability to see in the dark, and were nearly blind even in dim lighting.

Hutt: The Hutts were a species of large gastropods with stubby arms, wide cavernous mouths and huge eyes, who controlled a large space empire in Hutt Space. The species was said to originally hail from the planet Varl, but no planet by that name appeared on any Imperial star charts. Their adopted homeworld was Nal Hutta. The members of the species are often recognized as crime lords.

Humans were the galaxy's most numerous and politically dominant sentient species with millions of major and minor colonies galaxywide. Believed to have originated on the galactic capital of Coruscant, they could be found anywhere, engaged in many different pursuits: spacers, mercenaries, smugglers, merchants, soldiers, assassins, farmers, crime lords, laborers, slavers, slaves and many others, including Jedi. Since Humans were the most common sentient species, they were often considered to be a standard or average to which the biology, psychology, and culture of other species were compared.

Iktotchi: Iktotchi were a species that originated on the harsh windy moon of Iktotch, which orbited around the planet Iktotchon in the Expansion Region.
Iktotchi did not have hair, but rather they had a very resistant skin which protected them from the violent winds which crossed the satellite. Both males and females had horns curved and falling, which gave them an aggressive aspect. The males' horns were generally a little larger, a remnant from their mountain-dwelling, caprinaen ancestors.
They had a limited manual dexterity because their broad hands were equipped with fatty fingers and malhabiles; their hands were almost 1.5 times the size of a Human hand. Iktotchi measured on average 1.80 meters and had a rather significant breadth. Their life expectancy was approximately 90 years.
The psychological abilities of the species should also be noted. Iktotchi had a gift of precognition (direct knowledge or perception of the future) which was relatively effective on their native world, but whose capacities became very limited as soon as they moved away from the planet. In addition, Iktotchi also had powerful telepathic abilities as well. In spite of their rather unfriendly appearance, Iktotchi were sensitive beings which masked their deeper emotions under an appearance of stoicism.
Respectful of cultures other than their own, Iktotchi could adapt to life in differing civilizations; however, they seldom interacted with other races, and when they did, often experienced great difficulty. Indeed, their gift of precognition generally proved a curse, because it often frightened other species and Iktotchi were made the object of insults. In the same way, some unscrupulous individuals tried to deceive Iktochi into using their gift for criminal ends.
To communicate between themselves, Iktotchi used the Iktotchese language, but could speak Basic without problem.

Jawa: Jawas were typically short humanoid natives of Tatooine. They were often scavengers, seeking out technology for sale or trade in the deep deserts in their huge sandcrawler transports. A band of Jawas was responsible for locating C-3PO and R2-D2 and selling them to Luke Skywalker's uncle Owen Lars. Another tribe of Jawas, led by Tteel Kkak, found Jabba the Hutt's rancor. They had a reputation for swindling, as they had a penchant for selling old equipment such as outdated droids to moisture farmers, but they were passive beings, and hardly put up any resistance to colonists of their planet unlike the other natives the Sand People, instead seeing them as an excellent business opportunity.
Most Jawas were about 1 meter tall, though some grew to 1 and a half meters, and were characterized by their brown robes, glowing yellow eyes, and quickly spoken language called Jawaese that included words such as "Utinni!", which is translated as a battle cry, and "Ashuna ashuna!", which means "Let's go! Go!"
Through the study of corpses and skeletal remains, xenobiologists discovered that Jawas appeared to be gaunt, rodent-like creatures, with shrunken faces and yellow eyes] Jawa faces were obscured by a shroud of cloth to retain moisture, with polished, orange gemstones embedded in the fabric. These gems protected the Jawas' sensitive vision from the bright sunlight.Their particular smell came from a mysterious solution into which Jawas dip their clothes to retain moisture. To Jawas, the odor was packed with information about each other, such as clan lineage, health, emotional state, even the last meal eaten. This odor also attracted swarms of insects that gathered in the recesses of their hoods.Jawas also evolved several important survival traits, such as exceptional night vision, a strong immune system, and an efficient digestive system that drew all the needed nutrients from the Jawa staple diet of hubba gourd. Their average body temperature was 45ºC (112 F).

Kiffar: The Kiffar were a species of Near-Humans from the planet Kiffu. As such, they were sometimes mistakenly called "Kiffu".
Sintas Vel, the former wife of Boba Fett, was of this species. The Tonnika sisters Brea and Senni were also Kiffar.
About one in a hundred Kiffar had the ability to read the memories of inanimate objects by touch, or psychometry. By inanimate, it can also be defined as corpses. It was not normal for a Kiffar to be able to read the living. Quinlan Vos was a rare exception because of his training under Count Dooku.
visually, they were comparable to any Human except for their distinct facial markings. These markings, applied as tattoos when young, were passed down through families on the mother's side, except for on those rare occasions where an individual's mother was not a Kiffar, in which case the father's markings were taken on. Such was the case of Korto Vos, the son of Kiffar Jedi Master Quinlan Vos and Human mother Khaleen Hentz. Clan membership seemed to be passed down on the father's side, although it is unclear what occurred when the father was not a Kiffar, in the case of Ailyn Vel. The Kiffar resided on the planets of Kiffu and Kiffex, and their skin came in as many varying shades as that of Humans. The traditional colors of the facial tattoos were red, yellow, and green. Various patterns and designs were used to identify the clan.

Kaleesh: Kaleesh were reptilian humanoids from the planet Kalee. They had reddish-brown scaly skin, four-clawed hands, and clawed toes. General Grievous, a cyborg Kaleesh, had a digitigrade stance, but this does not appear to have been representative of the Kaleesh as a whole and may derive from his reconstruction based on a Krath War Droid. Each Kaleesh hand featured two opposable thumbs. They also had protruding tusks that jutted from their upper jaw. Behind the mask the kaleesh have large pointed ears, two stubby tusks on their chin, two tusks pointing upward off their mandible, and nostrils that stretched close to their eyes. They practiced polygamy.
The Kaleesh were a spiritual people, believing that those who performed great deeds in life became gods in death. Therefore, burial places were sacred to them. A large number of temples devoted to their ancestor gods, the holiest of which was called Shrupak.
Abesmi, a great monolith of stone in the Jenuwaa Sea, was the place the Kaleesh believed the gods ascended to the heavens. Pilgrims took the perilous voyage to Abesmi to beseech the gods.
As of the New Republic era, the late General Grievous, former Kaleesh warrior Qymaen jai Sheelal, had joined his species' pantheon of religious deities. Their society was divided into numerous tribes, including the Lig, and the Kaleesh were known to take multiple wives and have many children.
War was viewed as an essential and sacred practice, and the culture's large emphasis on honor was known to spur many acts of vengeance among the various tribes. However, when necessary, the tribes would put aside their differences and bond to fend off a common enemy.
Typical Kaleesh weaponry included a Czerka Outland rifle, a Lig sword, and a Shoni spear.

Kel Dor: The Kel Dors, sometimes referred to as Kel Dorians, were a species hailing from the technological planet Dorin.
They required masks to protect them when in oxygen-rich atmospheres. They were also known for their unique Force-using tradition, the Baran Do Sages.
One famous Kel Dor was the Jedi Master Plo Koon, who was a member of a famous Kel Dor Jedi family. Sha Koon, the Jedi Knight, was Plo Koon's niece.
The Kel Dors were a tall race, typically of the same height and weight as Humans. Their skin ranged in color from peach to a crimson red. Most had dark, black eyes, although some were born with silver irises, a mark that was often seen as an affinity for the Force.
Due to Dorin having a unique atmosphere composed of helium and a gas unique to their world, the Kel Dors had to wear an antiox breath mask and protective goggles whenever in atmospheres of a different composition. This equipment protected them from carbon dioxide, nitrogen, and oxygen, which were fatal to a Kel Dor. The breath mask also helped to amplify the Kel Dor's voice, as they must shout to produce any sound when out of their native atmosphere. Without their protective goggles, Kel Dors were considered effectively blind when away from Dorin

The Kel Dors also had heightened reflexes, a result of extra-sensory organs in their heads. As a species, they were thought to be typically quick and wise, but of a weaker constitution, when compared to other species.

Kaltooinian: Klatooinians were a humanoid species from the planet Klatooine, located in the Si'Klaata Cluster. For most of their history, they were closely associated with the Hutts, as criminal henchmen, soldiers, and slaves. By the time of the Galactic Civil War, however, some Klatooinians began to break away from their servitude.
Klatooinian civilization was notable for its strong belief in tradition and the wisdom of elders. The center of their culture was the Fountain of Ancients, a slowly evolving natural glass sculpture on Klatooine. Long before the formation of the Galactic Republic, primitive Klatooinians discovered the Fountain, and revered it as a symbol of patience, tenacity, and the idea of strength coming from age.
Their society was ruled by a Council of Elders, who granted young Klatooinians few rights. Klatooinians were taught the myths and traditions of their people from a young age, in a process which tended to suppress individuality. At the age of ten, they would be sold into servitude, with the most rebellious youths sent into the harshest conditions.

Mirialan: Mirialans were a species of near-Humans native to the planet Mirial who had greenish-yellow skin. Generally, the skin of males was darker than that of females. The Mirialan people were religious and practiced a primitive understanding of the Force. They believed each individual's actions contributed to their destiny. A Mirialan would place a unique tattoo on their face and hands to signify that they had completed a certain test or task. The number of tattoos would thus often act as a good indicator of how mature a Mirilian was. Famous Mirialans included the Jedi Luminara Unduli and her Padawan learner Barriss Offee, who were active during the Clone Wars, as well as the notorious pirate Arwen Cohl. Another relatively well-known Mirialan is Teela Kaarz, who was a minor convict-architect on the first Death Star.

Miraluka: The Miraluka were a Near-Human, Force-sensitive species. Their language was Miralukese, although some, like Visas Marr and the Dark Jedi Jerec, preferred Basic. They differed from Humans in that they lacked pupils or irises, instead bearing only vestigial white orbs (or in some cases, such as Visas Marr, empty sockets), and perceived the environment around them through the Force instead of regular vision. This vision was so strong that if a Miralukan looked upon a Jedi or Sith they could "see" the Force radiation off them. For moral reasons, Miraluka hid the appearance of their eyes by wearing a headband, a mask, or similar concealing headwear. As a Force-using species, Miraluka were often quite shocked if shown life not connected to the Force. The Miraluka that lived on Katarr were strong enough that even they felt the Battle of Malachor, though it is possible that they felt not only that battle.
Despite their inherent connection to the Force, Miralukan Jedi were quite rare, and Miralukan Sith were completely unheard of in the Galaxy prior to the years following the Jedi Civil War.
Their adopted homeworld was Alpheridies, a planet the Miraluka migrated to when their original homeworld became uninhabitable. A colony world of the Miraluka named Katarr was stripped of all life by Sith Lord Darth Nihilus in approximately 3,952 BBY, during a Jedi meeting. The only survivor of this colony world was Visas Marr. Other Miraluka were Shoaneb Culu (a Jedi Shadow) and the Dark Jedi Jerec, a member of the Inquisitorius.

Pau’an: The average Pau'an stood taller than a Human, with a bald head striped with furrowed gray skin. They wore elaborate clothes intended to heighten their impressive stature. These beings appeared frightening to some, with large, sunken black eyes and jagged, fang-like teeth used for tearing into raw meat. In fact, most Pau'ans were friendly, and were happy to welcome guests to their often overlooked world.
The Pau'ans once resided on the scrub-covered surface of Utapau, while the Utai made their homes in the planet's sinkholes. However, a climate change forced the Pau'ans underground, into the sinkholes. Over time, the two societies merged together to live in a mutually beneficial civilization. Pau'ans represented only about thirty percent of the population on Utapau, though as the administrators and bureaucrats of the sinkhole cities, their influence made up for their lack of numbers.
Pau'an society was a blend of a variety of styles and cultures, borne from the ancient merger with the Utai. Built into the sinkhole walls, Pau'an settlements such as the Pau City spaceport were divided into different areas, each a mix of architectural styles and other-worldly design. Pau'ans developed an industrial society, despite their seemingly primitive, troglodyte image, though it is the Utai who carried out labor work on Utapau.

Ubese: Ubese were Near-Humans that were often called on as mercenaries or bounty hunters. Normally, they were a very aggressive people, though loyal to one another. The typical Ubese warrior wore a protective, airtight environment suit or body armor, and was masked. Few non-Ubese had the opportunity to see an unmasked Ubese. The Ubese home world was little known to the rest of the galaxy, as they tended to be very secretive, associating only within their own circles. They were generally known as mysterious, savage nomads.
In fact, the Ubese came from the planet Uba IV, which was a pleasant, though isolated, world. There, they built a sophisticated clan-based society, though their technology lagged the rest of the galaxy. When Galactic Republic scouts finally made contact, the Ubese became obsessed with expanding their technical base. Initially, this benefited their society, improving industrial productivity and public health. A population boom resulted in the colonization of the rest of the Uba system, including Uba I, II, III, and V. However, the headlong acquisition of technology led to a breakdown in Ubese society. The Ubese leaders also became more aggressive, seeking conquest as a means to acquire more influence and power.
