Welcome to Albuquerque, New Mexico. This town in the southern United States is home to one of the WPP [Witness Protection Program] bases, and also one of the offices of the U.S. Marshalls. I'm sure you're wondering, what the heck do U.S.M's have to do with WPP? Simple. This branch of the U.S.M is in charge of protecting the witnesses who's identities have been forever changed. But it's a dangerous world.

Joining
It's very simple people. Copy the application, FILL OUT EVERYTHING, and send it to me with title New Life. Do not post until you see my opening post. If something is wrong in your application, I will highlight and send it back. Please fix it if you wish to remain in the RP. There are a limited number of spots, so join quickly!
Reserving For You && Others
I allow this. But do not expect that I will reserve this position for a month and wait for you to send me an application. You get a week reservation, and then the spot is open again.
Absences
I know we all have these. So if you're going to be gone, please tell me. I will kick you out if you don't post at least once every two days. It helps to keep this RP alive.
Posts
Everybody likes to post those little one liners. I DO NOT EXCEPT THAT. Three lines or more per post please. And please color your post. Font can be no bigger than 12, but normal font is kind of boring, so make it pretty. Bold speech and italicize thoughts for neatness.
Other Things
So this RP has to do with dangerous felonies, such as murder and rape, and all that stuff that could get you the death penalty. There will be violence, but don't overdo it. I will play the bad characters, the ones that your characters are running from. I do realize that there will be more than one case. But here's the idea:: I will create three premade witnesses, each with a different story. I want at least one other witness with the same story [newly made] before I will accept new stories and new crimes.

Alright, so there are only two really important roles in this RP. but let me get into detail about them. All info was found on google, and only some of this comes from memory.
The U.S. Marshalls-
Also known as the USMS [United States Marshall Service]. It's the oldest branch of law enforcement in this nation. They, like the FBI, have their own "Most Wanted" list. It's their job to bring in fugitives, protect witnesses and the federal judiciary, and transporting federal prisoners. USMS is based in Arlington, VA.
Witness Protection Program-
Also known as WPP, Witness Security Program, or WitSec. It's used to protect witness of felonies who's lives might be in danger. They are given a whole new life. The witness is recquired to change their name and location. The witness is actually encouraged to keep their first name and choose a last name with the same initial. Of course, WPP helps the witness find a house and employment, and provides them with the protection they need until the person who commited the crime is either punished with the death sentence, or securely locked in jail. The witness CANNOT go back to their old life. While in WPP, they CANNOT have any contact with anyone from their past, because this could put their life at risk.

I can be rough [Jennifer is a sweet person with a kind heart. She loves to help those in need, and proves to be quite good with victims. But she does have a bit of a temper when it comes to the bad guys. And she will be rough if people challenge her. She's no pushover]

I can be rough [Sayori is quiet and withdrawn. She's actually very outgoing, though, and not shy at all. Sayori is blunt, and almost always speaks her mind. She's got a wicked temper and definitely lacks patience. But because of her wild attitude, she can relate to the witnesses quite easily.]

Life can do this to you [Chaz used to be such an energetic boy. He's still sweet and outgoing, but he's almost paranoid now. He's also very jumpy, and hesitant to make new friends. He came into this program with no one, and his personality shows slight signs of depression.]

Life can do this to you [Missy's extremely rude and sarcastic. She takes orders from no one, and hates to be ordered around. She rarely shows respect, but has begun to soften up in the program. She's still cold, but Missy plays by the rules.]

I can never go back [Lance saw his mother kidnap and murder a young, five year old child. He saw her violent behavior continue, and four other boys paid the price. But before she could be put away, she supposedly killed herself. But Lance has been getting threat letters, proving she's still alive.]
Life can do this to you [Lance is a very sweet guy. He's a little bit withdrawn, but he's still a nice guy. He's shy, and not very talkative. He's remained mentally strong throughout this whole thing.]

Life can do this to you [Bri's a bright and outgoing girl. She never lost her spunk, and will to move on, and has been coping fine with everything. She's very sweet and energetic, and never ceases to show the tough attitude of someone much older than herself. She's a surprisingly capable child.]

As such he's fiercely loyal to the witness he protects and will risk life and limb for them if necessary. He's rather loud, jumps to conclusions, rarely has a plan, and does most things without thinking. ANNOUNCEMENTS
..First Case to Deal with..
-Charlie's father has escaped from maximum security prison and is slaying again. Five innocent people have been killed in the Nevada/New Mexico area. Charlie and the other victim that witnessed the first slayings are in grave danger because of their testimonies put Rodney Monroe in prison.
