hey just wondering what bows do u guys shoot?...compound, recurve, longbow??

I shoot a recurve. Never was a fan of compound bows, but I've always been interested in shooting longbow, or any barebow for that matter. I just never had the patience to bother learning how to walk the string correctly and all.

i mostly agree with A Pharmaceutical Bandit. I don't care much for the compound bows. too much machinery involved. not enough raw instinct. But yeah i shoot 40lb recurve right now. im training to shoot while moving and know a friend who has a horse ranch for mounted archery. that sounds intense to me but fun fun fun

i shoot recurve (sighted) i don't mind compounds...more than half the people at my club shoot them

Recurve for me. I wanted to try a compound just to see how it feels.
xD This one time at an indoor archery range, two of the archers i know switched bows. The guy, who shot recurve, had the compound and the girl had his recurve. The only thing it showed was a recurve shooter could shoot compound with no problem. But the compound shooter was having a hard time with the recurve. We dont have that many compound on the team but we hope to change that.

i shoot a compound 50lb. i never really tried recurve i just never got the chance but i want to try whee
