There are seven kingdoms in the land, and for manya year they have been at brutal war with one another. The wars had gone on for so long, many forgot the reasons for fighting, and warriors were fueled solely by grudge and habit. So much blood had been shed of late that fear forced the royal families to hide their children, the fortunate of them disguised as peasants, while the not so fortunate were locked in isolation within towers and dungeons.

Until one night, the king of fairies withdrew his forces and declared he would host a grand ball on the day of the new moon. "All who wish to attend," he spoke, "Will only attend with hearts of peace seeking an end to this senseless violence."

Many were shocked and most were confused by this statement, but there were others that suspected foul play. The dragons scoffed at the idea, but the other five kingdoms were merely at a loss.

Is the fairy king a liar? Or will this ball bring peace to the land? Could it be that the event is a battleground in disguise?
