As writers, we understand that you all need to express yourselves. however, there are a few guidelines in regards to submissions/threads/that stuff.

1. No chatspeak. This is for writers, and that being the case, we expect semi-literacy, at the least. That means in the chatterbox threads, you can be a little more relaxed with the spelling/grammar. However, your submissions must use proper punctuation, spelling, capitalization, etc. Spell check is your friend.

2. There are all types of writing, and that includes mature content. While romance, and possibly sex, are acceptable, pornographic writings are NOT acceptable. Also, cursing is allowed, as long as it doesn't get out of hand. In both cases, a warning should be placed in the title to warn the younger members.

3. You must respect the mods at all times. Thier decisions are final. If you believe that someone is abusing their privilege as mod, or if you need to bring something to our attention, PM one of the Literati and we will look into it right away.

4. There will be threads for poetry/songs/short stories. However, if you plan on making a larger story (multiple chapters) or a novel, feel free to make your own thread. You can also do this if you're making a collective song/poetry book.

5. you are allowed to CONSTUCTIVELY criticize the writings of other authors. This means no flaming, saying simply "you suck" or denouncinng the writing just because it may express opinions different from your own. This is meant for free expression and all different people. Be fair, be kind, and be detailed with your judgements.

6. Don't beg for reviews. Hopefully, after people read your story, they will judge it of their own free will. Bumping your thread is acceptable only if it has under 5 reviews and is about to get to the second page.

7. You can post in any (real) language that you can write in, but don't blame us if you're the only one in the guild who speaks it. If you need reviews, please provide an English translation.

8. Upon entering, Ima_Guildmule will request to be your friend. ACCEPT THIS! She's our guildmule of course and all mass PMs to the guild will be sent through her. Or help me out, request to be her friend!
