In colonial America, there are several people who are very excited to be in the new world, but new things bring greed, jealousy and war. Two major families and several other minor families are in a war of who gets dominance over this new world. The two major families are the Johnson's, and the Rosewater's. Other families pick sides due to bribes, threats, or deals, and there are too many to name. Commoners and some low lifes have no idea that there are wars amongst the richer of families, because the two families have dinner parties with each other every Sunday or so. These dinner parties are really places to threaten, and make deals with the other side. Each family has there own set of spies, thieves, and assassins to try and get rid of the other family. Which side are you on?
The main settings are in either the Johnson's property, or the Rosewater's property. Obviously, this is a romance, and the children of these large families interact with one another, and some are bound to fall in love.

Side and Family: does not care for this stupid and pointless war, but she is forced to be on the Rosewater side, for that was who she was born in, and she is in a major family.
Abilities: telekinesis
Personality: witty, but quiet when she needs to be, Risika is quick to act, and a born leader. her parents have high hopes for her, but Risika has other ideas... despite her punky attitude, and seemingly strong personality, she has one weakness. every so often, she starts coughing, and it turns into coughing up blood, having a fit, and fainting. she thinks it not a weakness, but as a chance to prove to herself that she can get through this deadly illness.

Personality: Quiet and collected. Witty and prone to listening more to talking, although he won't hesitate to speak his mind if he finds something offensive.
Bio: Nathaniel was adopted by the Johnson's not too long ago. He was turning tricks on the streets before the they found him, and was a drug addict. If it could get you high, he was there. Nathaniel had a record for solicitation as a fifteen year old minor, and he was arrested twice. Not long after the second arrest, he was attacked; He was seventeen when he was turned. The Johnson's took a special interest in him after that, for they had an eye for the strange and unique. They cleaned him up and set him on the path for a more successful life: a life off of the streets.

Personality: Sweet, but sometimes a bit defensive. She is very cheerful, and smart, and charming. She also can be a bit rebellious at times, and is close to her sister.She can be very klutzy, and yet graceful at the same time. She is sensitive, funny and compassionate. (I know your character is a Rosewater, so I'm guessing they are sisters, correct? Is that okay? I can change it, if you prefer....I was hoping I could make her your character's younger sister.....let me know...)
Bio: Colette has been fawned over by her parents so much, that it sometimes makes her sick. The "war with the Johnson's" get's on her nerves, and really goes against her philosophy of, "Why can't we all get along and be friends" type of thing. All she really wants is peace, and she could careless of the rivalry, she really wanted to get to know some of the Johnson children, and hates that she is being prevented because of how the parents act.

[Just jumping in here...hope you don't mind...]
Nathaniel sat back against his tree trunk, eyes closed. He was hoping to soak up the last of the sun's rays before he had to go in for the night. The lad drew his legs up to his chin, and rested his cheek against his knees.
Nathaniel opened his eyes a slit, and in the distance he could see the very, very edge of their mansion. The Rosewaters. He frowned, just thinking about them. Nathaniel personally didn't have a problem with the family, but...well...the ideals of the Johnson's sort of wore into him at times.

Risika was in the Rosewater's courtyard, waiting for the gardener to leave so she could escape. finally, the old man had left for the evening, and Risika had her chance. she jumped up and climbed over the fence effortlessly. once she was out of the Rosewater's property, she began to walk to her favorite place to think... and old tree, which was right next to the Johnson's property. it was risky, but wasn't that her nickname? Risky she was called, and Risky she would be. she climbed her tree and hung her legs down freely, relaxing.

*Tonight is the night I break into the Rosewater's mansion*Mathais thought the plan over carefully. "Just one more hour" he wispered softly to himself.*Oh s**t,I'm not sure this is going to go as planed.I have a feeling.*Mathais couldn't think positve.

Risika brought her legs up as someone came closer. she overheard him talking to himself... something about 'just one more hour'. she back flipped out of the branch.
"one more hour until what?" she asked, hanging upside down in front of the boy. she tilted her head curiously. "if you don't mind me asking..." she added.

Mathais jumped back and looked up. He was completly stunned. He closed his eyes hoping it wasn't real. When he opened them the girl was still there. "Nu..nuthin" Mathais took a couple of steps back.

Risika giggled as she back flipped out of the tree and landed with a soft thud on the grass. she walked up to the boy.
"nothing of consequence, i sure hope..." she said, suddenly frowning, staring holes into his own grayish-blue eyes. she raised an eyebrow, hoping to get information out of this boy... she almost felt srry for him, he seemed so innocent. "now... might i know what you are about to do in an hour? nothing to do with the Rosewater's i do hope..."

Mathais couldn't get his words out straight. No one ever confronted him. He didn't have any friends. He never delt with anyone but his dad. "N..N..No,Never.It would..would be foolish for one such as me to have anything to do with the Rosewaters" Mathais stepped back again.
