Mostly a comedy of errors so far with the stupid gloves. (Which was solved just by stomping my butt over to Hot Topic and buying the fingerless gloves. Ugh. Stupid patterns.)

(Because the protectors were too light so I recolored them with a layer of medium gray which gave them a metallic effect)

(Used the same technique I used on the pads to give it a slight metallic effect though it's not so obvious like with the pads.)

(this prompted me to go back and buy elastic for the pads and sew them on the kneepads for extension due to the fact that they were so tight on my knees that it was hurting.)

Just finished the cosplay. Wow.

I took a updated picture, but I forgot to put on the knee/elbow pads. Still, gives you an idea of how much stuff I attached.

Waaaay too late, and no, craft foam would have NOT worked at all. It has to be exactly molded to the body suit and craft foam would have not done the job. :/ (My Raiden figure shows that detail as well as the Raiden model from Document of MGS2 which I have as well.)
So, no, Craft Foam would have made it look very ugly and bulky. (I already used some to make the "base" for the sternum and it gave me problem.)

Anyway, in action: (My brother is Tuxedo Snake)
