Ok so in a desperate attempt to generate some guild activity I am starting up a new thread, The Video Game Sound Off!!!

Basically this is a thread that will be a place where individuals in the guild can report on their video games. You know what have you bought, what have you played, have you beaten anything you know trivial stuff like that. Why would we care? Because we are your guildmates... it has nothing to do with being bored as hell ninja NOTHING

So I will start off, in the past few days I have purchased the following video games
  • Condemned 2: Bloodshot:Xbox 360:$29.99
  • Front Mission 4 razz S2:$6.45
  • Haunting Grounds razz S2:$17.99
  • Chaos Wars razz S2:39.99
  • Neogeo Coliseum razz S2:$12.99

Last night I progressed myself a bit of the way through blue dragon. And managed to level up... a bit. It is one of those games with classes that have levels and stuff so the generic Character level does not really matter. I am currently running around place known as the Valley of Murals A valley that has living murals... the eat travelers.... which made me think... I need some of these murals... to scar children and keep them off my lawn.. plus they have the COOLEST mural cats... ninja that fly.

I just beat Elite Beat Agents on easy! XD

I've been playing MySims because my friend let me borrow it, it's way cute. No babies! biggrin

I've also, slowly, been playing through Lost in Blue 2.

And Mario Party 8! That's way fun. :3

Mario Party 8 is way fun, I just wish it had more mini games.

Anyway I now own MSG4, and let me say VISUAL ORGASM.

So yeah, MSG4 rules all in the PS3 world... that is all.

I got "The World Ends With You" the other day for $41.82. That game was really hard to fine, but it was definitely worth it.

So spent the past two days beating Resistance:Fall of Man and I must say it has a very interesting story.

Heh, much as I love videogames, partly due to not having new systems, I haven't gotten to play many in a long time. Recently over this break I've been playing some though. I've been playing a really old game from back in the days of Super Nintendo with a friend of mine, EarthBound. We name the characters and items some really funny things. lol I've been playing with a mate of mine recently another game we borrowed from that friend too, Tales of the Abyss. He also recently got a new game to lend in exchange to my friend for letting him borrow the Tales game and we started a new game on that to play together, Persona 3 (heh, which he's frustrated a bit with because he's a completest with his games and so far it looks like there are no complete walkthroughs available for him to make sure he hasn't missed anything.) These two games we've been playing on his PS2 he has brought with him when he has come to visit me, as I myself am indeed still back with just PS1. lol I've also decided by the end of the summer I'm set on finally finishing my copy of FFVIII which I've had for years, gotten pretty far in, then got to one of those "go do all these crazy side quests and such now and get all you can, because after this point a whole bunch of things will no longer be available to you anymore" points and never got past it because I kept getting killed every time I got to this one fight with an optional GF I'm trying to get and I don't want to continue the game without being able to get all the GFs.

HOLY CRAP YOU HAVE EARTHBOUND!!!! That game is like a sacred object in the video game world. It is the only SNES game that is harder to find then Chrono Trigger.

I just bought Halo 3 today, and I'm currently going through Bioshock for the second time. I went through it once on easy, now I'm going back through on normal because I decided that easy was way too easy. >.>

While I believe my friend has had the game or may even still have it and I know I at least still have a working SNES, we've been playing a computer copy of the game on the computer. lol Same exact game though, this isn't really even "adapted" for the computer beyond which keyboard key corresponds to what controller button. Oh, and I think there's a way to mess with it so you can take all the background images away . . . I should ask my friend if she knows what happened to her actual hard copy of the game anyway. I was unaware EarthBound was that rare. (And this being even while I actually did own the SNES while it was a current system. Man, I have just ALWAYS lived under a rock I guess.) I thought perhaps it was a more common game, like Super Mario or Zelda, after my friend mentioned one day being on a board discussing the game and there was a whole thread on just seeing how many people had (and yes, we did too) at some point named their favorite food in the game start screen "p***y."

Yeah it is a really rare one to find in the states, I have only really played an emulated version. What is really sad is how other earthbounds have not made it to the states.

In other gaming news, I got PAIN for the PS3. And it is a great game, hurling people out of a slingshot into walls.. cars... bomb... other people... and bouncing their doll like bodies around... oh so much fun... in bursts ^^;;

Yeah, I remember that. Actually, when I was making my first post in this thread I couldn't remember the title of the game at first, just that it was the second game after the first one was called "Mother" and I had to look it up that way to find the name again.

I think the series is just generically called 'Mother'

Mayhaps, mayhaps . . . ninja I could find out on wikipedia looking it up, but right at this particular moment I am not inclined to do so as I am trying to wind down my internet activity for the night.
