Birthday: February 21st
Origin: Lamen is from a big city on a northern continent, and has travelled a lot since turning ten- she has already travelled to Johto and Kanto to study sciences in order to become a genetic engineer. She graduated early, but the university she wanted to go to had a long waiting list, and she ended up with a one year and a half break from studies. Since she has always loved both travel and pokemon, she decided to take this opportunity to become a watcher for the time being- and her first stop is the continent of Zatao. She seeks to gather experiences with pokemon and generally enjoy her time- she's only a trainer casually and as a passtime; however, she is interested in raising different kinds of pokemon of her own.
Appearance: Lamen is tall, has a strong build, and flat-chested. (She only wears big t-shirts anyways.) The clothes she wears are always slightly too big for her (she likes them that way), and the baggy, loose type. She actually only wears her hoodie when it's raining, and occasionally if it's cold- but she enjoys cold, so it really depends on whether she NEEDS to or not. Her hair is gray, her eyes are gray, and they're not very shiny- it makes her look kind of ominous or stern, especially since she's a rather slow-moving person who doesn't get excited very often.
Likes: Lamen loves and values life above everything else. She loves living things, and both nature and humankind; admiring the complexity and beauty of both. Other than that, she really likes chocolate, ice cream, gazing at the sky (a major pastime of hers), cool weather, Winter, soft colors, challenges in life, bugs, all other animals, art, all science, peace... dur... a lot of stuff? xD
Dislikes: Heat, Summer, death, agitation(problems), cruelty... taking life for granted, weakness, red and other overly bright colors, candy, artificial-tasting food(xD), violence, conflict.
Personality: Calm, courageous and unshakeable, Lamen is a very stable person at heart, who nevertheless will have seemingly random bouts of mischief that surprise others, as she outwardsly seems so serious (although her inner self is very playful and bent on enjoying her time.) She may be difficult to approach at first, but she's a surprisingly open person and people usually warm up to her quickly. She's very independent and does not need the company of others, and yet enjoys it. She has strong morals and will stick to them, although they differ slightly from the norm. A rational person, she is impossible to anger, and you'll never see her depressing; in dire situations, she has the ability to think clearly of what the best choices and solutions would be at the time for everybody's benefit. She is also rather androgynous both in body and spirit, and usually very laid-back.
Weaknesses: Her physical weakness is heat and situations that require athletic ability, as she is not very good with them, even if she will face it if the situation requires it. Her mental weakness is death, as she cannot stand it in any form- if you kill an insect in front of her, she'll probably look away and stay quiet for a long time, and then have trouble sleeping at night. Please restrain yourself from doing so. xD
Preferences in pokemon: Steel, ground, grass and flying types are her all-time favorites. x3

They're basically the team I've aimed for more or less in every pokemon game I've ever played- with slight variations between the generations. 3nodding (But as you can see, I'm not interested in any Gen 4 pokemon. This is because 1) I don't have any gen 4 pokemon games, 2) They're just not as interesting, lulz. xP) Either way, most of them have been with me through many games (not just the basic ones- I mean, they exist in Stadium games and Mystery Dungeon games as well. I've gotten very attached to them, unlike other awesome pokemon that I have not "adventured" with a lot. xD) Lyosa, Shiny and Donut have even followed me onto Gaia before. ;3 The shop got closed, though, and not too long after I got them. gonk  Color variations: Like everyone else, I have my preferences, but I'm satisfied with basic colors and the little differences that Extrasensory has between each pokemon as well. For example, I would certainly love it if Lyosa's beige stomach color could be paler, perhaps a little silver-ish, or if her fire could be white- but these things are unneeded for her to be Lyosa. 3nodding
Spinarak/Ariados and Deoxys: Even if I got Spindler rather than Soaringedge on my "team" (composed of either befriended or caught pokemon), I ABSOLUTELY ADORE BOTH OF THEM. I'd still quest for the other. Definitely. Same goes for the vice-versa situation (having gotten Deoxys, but not having Ariados).
Wingull/Pelipper and Magikarp/Gyarados: Alto and Shiny(named so because the first time I had him, he was a shiny) have fulfilled the same role for me in many games. Often, I'll replace one with the other in replays of the game. You may notice they are both water/flying type. This is why I'd only get one, not both. Because then my team would have 7 pokemon, and that would not be okay. xd ;; And Shiny would be Shiny regardless of if he/she's actually shiny or not! xP heart
Genders: Some of them I'd really like to be a specific gender, because it just seems to suit them better RP-wise- but most of them are okay either way. 3nodding

I don't actively quest for all of them like I do for my "team". But if I see any of them available and IF it doesn't get in the way for questing for teh Eggplants... there are a few legendaries that I love a lot. x3 <3 Of course, legendaries are the hardest to obtain, and probably the most expensive, but it doesn't hurt to try! xd Besides, there are so many. If they ALL ended up getting done, I think I'd... hopefully... maybe... perhaps... succeed at getting one? D8>;; Deoxys is in a category of its own. This is the guy that I ABSOLUTELY FREAKIN' MUST GET. I have a passion for Deoxys because I'm retarded, bear with me, okay. xd It's not a very shallow reason, actually, but it's still stupid to associate IRL goals and loves to a fictional creature BUT YEAH WHATEVER I LOVE DEOXYS. gonk heart *clings to it* (And it is genderless, which only makes it so much cooler. 8D) He's also the only legendary that I would probably RP making actually friendly contact with humans. surprised The rest would be wild, and dangerous... or just not RPable because they may be too powerful and too earth-shattering and history-changing every time they appear (you know which ones I speak of. xD) Mewtwo, Groudon, Lugia and Giratina are also grouped into a category: I love them. heart But it won't break my heart not to have them. xDD Still, I'd try. >83 Why do they have names? Because I already have loads of ideas for how they would be if I had them. xDD These guys are also in a category because I do like their concept a lot and have some ideas, and if I saw one of them, I'd try for them, but I don't think I'd make too great an effort.  And then there are all those other pretty legendey pogeys! 8D I like them! heart Ho crud, I switched shiny Entei and normal Entei by accident. gonk (I like shiny Entei a lot~ So much prettier. x3) But I should try to show some restraint towards them... I'll TRY not to try for them... but I don't think I'd know what to do with most of them. 83;;
