I think there is another topic on this, but i do agree, but not PS2, it would have to be PS3! It would be beyond smick! We're all waiting... though some not a paitently stressed

okay question are you all talking about the video with cloud jumping off of the shinra train at the begining of final fantasy VII? if so im sorry to tell you but that is just the secret ending to crisis core and they are not making another final fantasy VII.

I really hope so because I'm looking forward to it and there's been talk about a remake since AC came out. That ending with Cloud on top of the Shinra train is secret? Really? Wow! I feel dumb that I didnt know that I got a secret ending XD!

Crowmania SE are making a remake of FF7 for the 3. trailer looks awesome. ive seen the trailer youre talking about, and all it is is a TECH DEMO not a trailer. it specifically says so below the big ff7 logo thingy. as of this moment in time there is no real reason to suspect that they are going to remake ff7, and more than likley they are not going to. and on a personal opinion note, if they did remake it, odds are they would do something stupid like try to improve on something besides just the graphics. also they would more than likley take out the most hilarious part of the game (the whole n***** c*** thing).

Yes, it is a tech demo. That does not necessarily mean that they can't do a remake; it just means that they don't have to. With all the people who were confused about it, I'm sure they noticed how excited fans were thinking there would be a remake. Besides, they've never actually said there won't be a remake. All they ever say when asked about it is that they're working on other things at the moment. I'd think they'd just say "no" if they're not. Why get everybody excited over it if it doesn't exist? Especially since the craze over the VII Compilation is dying down.
That said, I don't completely believe there will be one. I just think it's a distinct possibility. If they're planning one, I think it would be great if they announced it with the Blu-Ray Advent Children coming out in March. Just saying. mrgreen

Just saying. mrgreen yeah, you get my point accross a bit better haha. i do think its POSSIBLE ... a small possiblity ... but its still there. i do agree that if asked about it and they werent going to make it they would just say no ... so they might be working on it. maybe even something better. and i also agree, that would be a great time to announce it.

No, I'm pretty sure Square-Enix was actually talking about the PSOne version that's out ages ago... It'd be nice for it to really happen but we'll be waiting for a LONG time, so it's best to ignore it until they mention the name again... This next bit is not that important but was funny to notice. I live in Australia and there's an electronics shop that releases a monthly magazine about movies and games. This is what showed on their top 5 game sales for the month:  I know it's an obviously typo, since there's a FFII release on PSP, but hey... doesn't it bring your hopes up? xd Actually, I just realised they were probably refering to Crisis Core... how stupid of me... sweatdrop

Well...They just made a download on the PS3!!! I think it's for the censored version but whatever. Only Barret curses and it's funnier when it's censored. It's not anything new though, same as the CENSORED version. I'm gonna go download it WOOOO!!!!
