About Kyumika:
I usually go by the name Kyu or Kita. I am 16 years old (my birthday is April, 7th, 1992), a junior in high school, and 50% Danish. I loooove art! It is my passion and I hope to get a major in illustration and/or animation (the drawing type) in college. I go to art class once a week and usually waterpaint pictures of interesting houses, people, or land formations. Before I started art class, I have been self taught, so don't expect any amazing pictures that I drew because you won't find them (yet. I'm definitely improving. :3). I also love to write stories and have a goal of writing my own book as soon as possible soon. I also love to read. Some of my favorite books are the Host, the Twilight series, the Inferno, the Odyssey, the Eragon series, the Hobbit, and many many more! I also love photography and have a habit of taking pictures (mostly nature pics) whenever I see something interesting. I also love to look at other people's work whether it's on the internet, or in a museum.
My favorite sport is crewing. For those who don't know what that is...it's canoeing. I haven't been part of the team long, but ever since I first started to row I was hooked. I love it! Many people may think that it isn't a very competitive sport. However, it requires a huge amount of arm work, leg work, and ab work. Races can also be competitive. Everyone in the canoe has to time their rowing almost perfectly and keep up with everyone else in the boat. I have practices 4 days each week that usually starts at 6:30 AM- 8:30 AM. Yes, it's very early. And I usually have to wake up at around 4:30 AM in order to get to the lake on time because I live quite a bit away from it. So instead of having my mom drive me each morning, I carpool with other team members. Everyone on the team are amazing and are very good friends. They always help you out and never abandon you. Even when we aren't rowing, we are still a team.
Some of my favorite movies are: Memoirs of Geisha, Elizabeth the Golden Age, the Princess Bride, Kamikaze Girls, Totoro, Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, and Mote Python's the Holy Grail. My favorite video games are DDR, Shining Force, and all the Fatal Frame games. Right now I'm able to play on difficult on DDR Supernova and have filmed some songs that I did on the mat (I only play it on the mat, never on the controller). I have an account on YouTube and have yet to upload my videos. 3nodding As for Fatal Frame...I've beaten the third game and plan on beating the second game as soon as I can get my hands on it. x3 I have a music video thingy of Fatal Frame 2 on my profile if you want to take a look. ^^
I have been on Gaia for about a year and a half now, and even though sometimes I get sick of having to get online everyday, I still love it because of the people, my friends, and role playing. As for role playing...I have been doing it more a little bit over a year and have made several roleplays and are in several more. 3nodding
