The Ancient One is a book by T> A. Barron
This is about a girl who was first introduced in "Heartlight" this time she goes to the foreset with her aunt and then is transported back in time with a boy who wants the forest to be logged. It's an ok book not as good as his Lost years of Merlin series, but this is something that you should read if you like either TA Barron or fantasy books it gets a little slow but you still have the urge to finish.
