A man walked up the streets, looking around. He was wearing a red T-shirt and some dark blue jeans. Kio Liengod continued walking along the street, a bag slung over his shoulder. Huh... This town looks nice. He smiled as he searched the streets, looking around for a potential home or job.

Kuro is on the porch of the inn beating out a carpet, she spots Kio and seems to think for a moment.
"Eeeey! You! You wanna make some gold?" She'd ask leaning over the banister trying to get his attention.

Kio jumped a bit at the unexpected voice. He shifted his weight from foot to foot. "Uh, depends." He said, looking over to her.

"What do you mean depends? I need someone for an honest days work!" She'd say and frown and quickly mutter under her breath "tending to those damnable people" She'd then shift her expression in a smile.
"It's nothing too horrible." She'd say and smile disarmingly.

"Could I have some specifics?" Kio asked, walking over next to were she was. She was avoiding the point, which sure as hell didn't make him want to accept the job.

She'd sigh heavily and lean on the banister.
"I have some guests coming from out of town, and they always complain about me being understaffed and a bunch of other silly things..." She'd say.
"I just need someone to help them take bags up and look like you work here for a day our so... I'll be doing the majority of dealing with them." She'd say.
"Ah, You're new here! I'm sorry I must seem so rude, My name is Kuro Kitasha, I'm the innkeeper. Welcome to Silver Lune!" She'd say and look at him pleadingly.
"Please? It's just for a day... and if you're planning on moving here I'll help you get settled in exchange."

Kio thought about it for a couple of seconds. "Uhh.... Sure, why not? I'm Kio Liengod." He told her and smiled. "And don't worry, you don't seem rude.. Just... Really in need of help." He pulled his bag higher on his shoulder. "I can cook too, if you need help with that."

She'd point to the stairs leading up to the porch. "Come on in, I just need to get these carpets in and they'll be here in about an hour." She'd say
"And you're a life saver Mr. Liengod."

Tobias had been dawdling around aimlessly for an hour. The town was so familiar to him, but it had been such a long time he had gone for a simple stroll.
Beads of sweat were appearing on his forehead, then slid down, and rested down his chin. With his next step the droplet fell and landed on the cobblestone street.
Tobias wiped his forehead with the back of his sleeve and sighed.
'A jacket was a bad choice.' He thought, almost angrily at himself.
Walking along for a moment longer he stopped at a fence, and leaned against it.
He stared at a large expanse of field. A large oak tree greeted his gaze. Attatched to it's thickest branch was a tire swing. He remembered playing there as a kid. Before the accident. Before his solitude on the farm.
He sighed once more and stared out accross the field, devoid of thought.

Kuro was on her way back from an errand to the city, being there were no farmers currently active she had to go and get supplies from the city once a week. She'd see Tobias and for a moment, wonder if she had seen him before, he looked vaguely familiar. She'd walk up behind him, searching her mind for a name, first or last, with a rather befuddled expression on her face. She knew he lived here...
Was his name Tony? No... Ben? No.... She'd look at the oak tree that he was so focused on and suddenly it would come to her.
"Hello Tobias!" She'd say with a friendly smile, standing just a few feet behind him. He probably didn't even hear her approaching.

Tobias craned his neck downward, looking through the gap in his arm and saw a girl he had remembred.
Short flashbacks of his childhood popped into his mind.
He turned and smiled.
"Kuro. Wow, it's been such a long time!"
He held out his hand to shake.
"How are you? How have you been?"

She'd take his hand and shake it briskly and smile. She was in her normal tee-shirt and jeans rather than the uniform she wore when the Inn had guests.
"It has! Hows your families farm holding up? I keep trying to find a farmer to buy produce from, but all the farms -look- like they're empty." She'd say with a smile.
"I've been good, Mostly whats expected, been running the inn, business is good." She'd say.
"Have you been away or something?"

{continuation from the inn}
With disappointment she strolls around the town for fresh air.
The town is unfamiliar to her, and she has forgotten the path home. Agian she is in another trouble

Toby laughed a little.
"My fences are covered with hedging, so you cant really see my crops. I am hoping to start making money actually, now that you mention it. We should chat about that later!"
He smiled and sat on the fence, looking at the ground.
"After my folks had passed away I got the farm. The days weren't like they used to be. I had to start working hard. I rarely left the farm. Ive missed you. Remember the day we played hide and seek with the city kids? We totally won that."
Tobias laughed, and realised it had been a long while since he last had done.
