Welcome!
This is the forum for ALL role-play inside the guild. Kindly do NOT start any role-play activity outside of this forum and in other parts of the guild. This is to prevent egregious mental confusion on the parts of others.
Basic rules are in this post, and rules for those wishing to start new role playing games (from here on out known as'Puppet Masters' and are the ones who start new RP threads) are in the second. We ask that everyone please read both.
General rules of this forum are as follows:
1. Play Nice.
2. Be open-minded to all members, viewpoints, and posts. If you don't understand something, OOC the original poster and ask for clarification of what they've written.
3. LITERACY is appreciated in this forum at all times. Out of all the sections of this guild, literacy is the most highly enforced here. If you're going to play creatively, there should be no questions of whether or not you should write like you've got some semblance of intelligence about you.
4. Please keep any risqué intimate scenes down to a minimum- the best writer is one that can leave the most important things up to its audience's imagination.
5. If something goes down between some characters in a particular thread, do NOT take it into other parts of the forum, or for that matter into totally different rp threads. It is just a game. No need to take anything too seriously or personally, which brings me to #6...
6. No IRL drama or flaming is to be had in this forum. Everything is to be had in good fun. If you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen.
7. Do NOT control the actions of other characters. Moving/dragging is fine, but know your limits. Here are some examples of what you should and shouldn't do:
Do you noticed what's gone wrong here? The person playing Sam has had no chance at all to even get word in- a complete scene has gone by where someone has had to watch while their character has been utterly commandeered by another player without their consent.
This is wrong and is unacceptable. Multiple attempts at commandeering characters that do not belong to you shall be dealt with by the moderators, so don't do it.
8. KEEP UP WITH YOUR CHARACTER. RPGs require some amount of dedication. If you decide to sign up to one, you are essentially signing a contract saying that you will check in at least once per day, every day, to the thread you play in so that the other people playing with you can also play and enjoy themselves.
9. If you are going away for a prolonged period of time and cannot man your character, post an OOC and let the other regulars of your thread know so that they can accommodate your absence in their story-telling. This is so whatever the thread's plot is won't get held up by your leaving for awhile.
10. Follow all rules and story guidelines set up by the thread's Puppet Master (aka rp/thread starter). The guidelines they put forth will be crucial to the way that the game world is set up and what lore and logistics will matter or not. For instance, a stake may or may not be able to kill a vampire in a particular RP- you will have to read and understand their guidelines to know or not. For more details on such things, please read the second post.
Rules shall be added to this post as needed. Don't make it needed. Ever.

Do NOT do this
Martha saw Sam walk in and ran up to her saying, "Oh my gosh, you looked famished! Come with me!" Martha took Sam's hand and lead her into the dining room, whereby she placed infront of Sam lots of food and sam sat there and scarfed down all of it. "My, weren't you hungry!" Martha replied as Sam finished off the last bite. "Come on, let's go to the drawing room!" and Martha took Sam's arm and took her into the other room where she took a seat.
