Summer was just beginning and the TCC looked a little brighter than usual. The stretch of clearing in front was bright green with wild grasses speckled with various colored flowers and the cherry blossom trees were just shedding their petals from spring. The wind carried the petals across the yard like snow as the hot sun beat down between the tree tops.
On either side of the huge rural looking yard were two large buckets, one red and one black. Inside the buckets were hundreds of matching water balloons, already prepared for the wet warfare that would be taking place that Friday. On the black bucket, the names “Lady Sabattica (Chelsea)” and “Metamorphosis Lycanthropy (Steph)” were scribbled across the front; the red bucket tagged with the names “Messenger_Of_The_Moon (Britt)” and “Laharl15 (Janus).” Team names had yet to be decided, but what would that matter when water balloons were to be hurled all over the yard at potential targets.
The yard had not only been prepared for the water balloon fight, but also had 5 or 6 black silk blindfolds draped from the trees. These were to be used later in the event for shag-tag when crew members were to be blindfolded and toyed with in the best of fashions.
After an exhausting water balloon fight or other summer festivity, TCC members were welcome to rest at the poolside within The TCC’s depths. Making their way in to the main chamber, a door could be seen in the back corner adjacent to the playroom staircase. Through the door, members would enter a spectacular columned room with a glass dome ceiling that could be opened or closed to their discretion. This was the pool and spa area and was also somewhat like a greenhouse. Many exotic and beautiful plants were scattered in huge pots around the room’s elegant marble floors; Artwork and stained glass windows stretched across the walls in-between huge roman-looking columns. The Olympic sized pool had depths from 3 feet all the way down to 14 feet deep with pleasantly warm water. At the deep end of the pool was the spa. The hot-tub was raised a few feet higher than the edge of the pool and had a waterfall cascading into the pool’s shimmering turquoise waters. Also at the deep end, beside the hot-tub was a huge waterslide, well suited for the thrill seekers. Along the length of the pool were several massive 6’ tall candelabras boasting large candles that were lit at night to light up the pool area. The candle and starlight created a very serene and peaceful evening setting in the poolroom. Towards the shallow end of the pool there was a glass water bar lit up with an assortment of colored neon lights. The barstools, also made of glass, reflected the stunning turquoise color of the pool and allowed swimming guests to take a break and get a drink at the same time. The pool area was colossal in size and allowed guests to enjoy the facilities in various fashions. Many plush water-resistant couches and lounge chairs were placed around the pool for those who wished to watch others or just take a nice relaxing seat by the gorgeous pool.
