hm... I still don't understand how guilford survived the FEIA sweatdrop
and why's he wearin' sunglasses, doesn't seem like he got blind because of the explosion.

When he got caught, he was right at the edge of the blast radius (seeing as how Lelouch narrowly missed getting caught in the light as well). Since the FLEIA is pretty much a black hole (an obnoxiously pink one) and has a delay between the "pretty pink light" and "BOOM everything compresses into nothing", he must've hit the eject button. And yes, the explosion did blind him. Or else he's being smart and using sunglasses to protect himself from Lelouch's Geass.

don't think he got blind though
he was able to run comfortably with a FAMAS machine gun during the last episode
hmmm... and he's already been hit by lelouche's geass
making lelouche look like cornelia
(I think he's just tryin' ta look cool in fronta cornelia. lol) sweatdrop

I dunno about that, I don't think it's past Cornelia to put an ungodly amount of trust in Guilford with a machine gun, blind or not. xd
Yeah, but even though Lelouch got him with the Geass once, it has a permanent effect on Guilford as long as he's able to see Lelouch.
Either reason makes sense as to why he's wearing the glasses. It still amounts to him not falling for the Geass again, seeing as how the command was sight-based.
