If anyone has a wii I have made miis in the likeness of some of the platoon. (Actually this started so I could use Giroro on Mario Kart stare ) Dororo is the only issue. I'm working on pictures to put up, the computer I have to use for my camera is unavailable.
Anyway, if anyone else has a wii I'd like to sort of...trade designs. I'm curious how others would make them.
***Pictures Coming Soon Taking longer than wanted.***
I'll also most likely use this thread for future drawings and sketches as well.

Wow I was bored. I started doodling on MS Paint and was suddenly inspired to just put together some random Kerons. I've only seen up to episode 58 roughly so there are some things I may not know at the moment so bare with me here. biggrin This was attempt number one, not particularly proud of it though. I didn't bother with any shading at all as you can see. Attempt number two included some shading. I still didn't like how it turned out though. It was still fun. I really like this last one. Maybe because of the phrase or the Keron picking up a small bit of personality through it lol. The sharp objects she refers to are the hearts next to her. I would appreciate some tips and thoughts any time. I would also like to ask, those that have been able to draw the body: any tips on how to do it properly? I can never seem to get that part drawn well at all! biggrin

Allright!! o: this took a long time to reply to.. :3 sorry...
I've made some simple little rules for myself when drawing the KG crew, so maybe you can use them as well. heart I'll start from head to toe~
Head/Face: When you draw a character, there's LOTS of measuring involved(at least, if you want it to look good). How big you draw the head will define the size of the rest of the body. You start out with a perfect circle, and draw crosshairs in the exact middle. so a + forms inside the circle. The eyes are perfect circles as well, and their bottoms should just almost touch the center line. The top of the hat will just almost touch the top of the eyes and curve slightly either up or down.
If you're drawing a tadpole, the white circle will curve right above center line, and a little bit of color should be seen on either side of the eyes. If you're drawing an adult, well, you'll just have to eyeball the mouth line.
Torso: Remember that measuring thing I talked about? Well from the neck down is where its most important. Where the neck meets the head should be just a little bit inside the white of the face. (careful! Too far inside makes it look anorexic and too close to the edge makes them seem overweight)
The length of the torso should be 1/2 the size of the head. This is very important!! If its too long, they look tall, Too short and they look too chubby. If that's the look you're going for fine, but if you want to get close to the original, that's not what you should do. The white part of their belly should always be just a bit smaller than their overall torso. If you practice for a bit, you'll get a good idea of what looks the best :3
Legs: The legs for each original frog are different, so you'll need to adjust depending on who you're drawing. But one rule is always the same; The legs are 1/2 the size of the head. ALWAYS When you're done drawing your keronjin, their total hight should be 2 heads tall. Basic; For the most part, legs are pretty strait but with a slight curve. They're always fatter at the top, and get thinner at the feet. The little points for the feet will depend on the direction they're facing. Keroro; See basic Giroro; Almost the same as basic, but the lines on the inside of his legs are ALWAYS perfectly strait (when standing up) so draw those first, and then draw the outside of his legs to match Kururu; Much like basic, but add more curves Dororo; See basic Tamama; More often than not, his legs are together. To draw them, draw one line strait down from the center of the torso and draw the outside of the legs from there.
Arms: These are so easy!! They stop just right below the belly line. Draw them thin at the shoulder, and larger at the hands. Remeber, keronjins don't have wrists~!

And today I learned a lesson: I am bad at drawing circles. I should go get a compass or something...

Marie Bloodrose And today I learned a lesson: I am bad at drawing circles. I should go get a compass or something... xd You're not the only one! I can't draw them AT ALL either. T-T Well, not freehand, anyway. I can only draw the bottom right corner of a circle perfectly.. O: So I draw a square, devide it into fourths and turn the page so that I only draw the bottom right corner.. xD Its alot of work but it looks nicer in the end.

Hmmm I didn't think of that lol. For me: I can draw the left half but the right half never goes well. I think it's because I'm right handed, so the left curve is easier to draw than the right curve.

Because circles are pretty much evil, I gave up on them. They are dead to me. My inability to love them forced me to come up with my own way of drawing Kerons which usually involves funky circular-esque shapes. Life = instantly easier.

Well I actually completed a body. It's not perfect and it bugs me but I know if I keep going back and 'touching up' on it, I may mess it up terribly. Any thoughts and tips are appreciated. heart It's a little annoying to draw without a proper mouse and I can't stand drawing them by hand, I get angry too fast lol.
