The Jedi Code
There is no emotion, there is peace.
There is no ignorance, there is knowledge.
There is no passion, there is serenity.
There is no death, there is the Force.
— (Based on the meditations of Odan-Urr)
Map of the Jedi Academy

NOTE: The Jedi Academy has been constructed within a large underground cavern. The gardens and pavilion have been terraformed and are kept through artificial means at a reasonable temperature year-round. Rhen Var's natural environment is fatally cold, and precautions must be taken before venturing outside the cavern to prevent frostbite and other conditions.
Rules of the Jedi Academy
There is to be no discrimination on basis of species or gender when accepting potential younglings for training. All are welcome in this place so long as their intentions are good.
The acceptable age bracket for younglings has been extended from until four to seven years old.
Until their fourteenth year, younglings live in the common dormitories with their classmates. Exceptions will be made on account of mental instability, bullying, etc. Requests may be made to transfer to different rooms should problems arise; transfer must be approved by a resident administrator.
Upon reaching their fourteenth year, or corresponding level of maturity according to species, Jedi Masters may accept a youngling for training; or, should no Masters express interest, a youngling may request training by contacting a resident administrator of the Jedi Academy. No teacher may accept a padawan as long as they remain a member of the faculty; but they may provide additional training to a youngling if it is necessary.
While a padawan remains within the Jedi Acadamy, they are to sleep in the barracks.
Should either member become dissatisfied with a padawan-master apprenticeship, the padawan and Jedi may be separated temporarily or the apprenticeship permanently dissolved, depending on the problem. The outcome will be decided by a council's vote.
Upon reaching completion of their apprenticeships, padawans are required to undertake a rite of passage in order to gain the title of Jedi Knight. This may include services to the Jedi Order, overcoming personal struggles to the satisfaction of the teacher, or whatever the teacher deems appropriate for the situation.
A Jedi Knight must be able to build a lightsaber of their own, and wield said lightsaber competently. A Jedi Knight must be able to formulate their own meditations on the force, which will be validated by one of the teachers within the Academy.
At this time, a padawan is encouraged to craft his or her own lightsaber. Crystals may either be personally sought out or supplied by administration.
The rank of Master will not be given out lightly. One who recieves it must demonstrate commitment, resolve, skill and the will to maintain the balance of the Force. Further inquiries may be made directly to Saiyamoru by those whose curiousity or ambition gets the better of them.
May the force be with you.
