Lavona licked the scrape of a wimpering cub after they had fallen from the ledge of the tub when one of their siblings had knocked them over. After a few more licks though the cub was back and bouncing around the room with the others. She shook her head and turned to see one cub sitting beside her. He sat straight, his tail curled around his paws, his eyes following his siblings as they played. Lavona no longer asked Arlen why he didn't play with his sblings. Last time he had shrugged, said he didn't like too and went on watching. Well, atleast she didn't have to worry too much about him getting hurt. She turned her attention back to the other cubs as she layed down to watch them.
Arlen watched his mom lay down and felt mildly sorry for her. Though he was a cub he understood alot. Any one could see that his parents didn't like each other, though that seemed to be an understatement. Arlen ducked his head as somthing was thrown and hit the wall behind him. He moved over between Lavonas paws as she scolded the thrower. Smiling to him self when she nuzzled him before scolding some one else for pulling on anothers body part. And this was daily life.

A long hiss escaped Petrar's little throat as she swiped at the bouncing cubs around her. Even this young she wasn't afraid to fight back, though it was just a group play session and not a real fight. But she was getting sick of it and began to draw back towards the wall as something bounced off it. It hit not far from where she was standing and her fur stood on end, prickling.
Unless she was told to do something, Petrar would rather be alone with her thoughts than with her siblings. Especially if they were weak or pathetic or a combination of both. She curled her tail around her with a giggle. Wouldn't it be great to shoot her claws into their skulls?

Tiponi frowned, watching his siblings. What a bother they were, and completely unnecessary. His parents hadn't a need for anyone else but himself. He smirked a little, watching them. Poor little things didn't even know how worthless they were. He slowly crept toward Petrar, then pounced on her from up above, having been using a ledge in the wall as his hide away.
He bit down on her ear, growling and pawing at his sister's body as they tumbled and wrestled. Quite truthfully, he disliked this sister most of all. She looked too similar to him, and though he hadn't heard a parent say it yet, he suspected they were different from the other cubs. Still, to look so much alike to him...She had some gall, walking around and acting so much better then them all. Didn't she know he was much more important then she was? Then any of them were?
He held tightly to her ear, smirking a bit. He'd have to teach her a lesson for being so stupid then. Thats what he figured anyways.

Door watched her fellow siblings in their play session, though it seemed to be quickly turning into a fight session. She wasn't surprised, it seemed that after watching the way their parents were with each other, most of her siblings, like her, had chosen to father their father and the winning side. Another cub slid to her feet where she paced, and her hackles raised up, her paw striking out at the retreating cub. A tiny growl escaped her throat before her pace resumed, her agitation at being cramped up in this room showing. She looked over to her 'mother', a new growl building up in her throat as she saw one of her brothers crouching between her feet.
Disgusting, she thought. She'd never felt a real kinship to much of her family, though she felt more comfort when she was near Petrar or Numai. Malice is a lovely family trait, she thought with a fast-dissipating grin. Lady Door finially let out a low grumble and sat down, glaring at her siblings at play from the sidelines. This room was quickly turning into an insane asylum....

Lavona stood from where she was laying down, quickly growing annoyed. Every day since they'd been able to get around they had been trying to kill each other. Her brow furrowed and her frown deepened, not liking the way things were going. "Tiponi!" She barked as she marched over to the rolling cubs. Lavona grabed the hissing and biting cub by the scruff of his neck. Her voice was muffled when she spoke but was still comanding. "Let her go, right now."
Arlen slinked away on his belly, jumping up onto the ledge of the tub. He hated this chaos. He hated most of his brothers and sisters. They were anoying and bad. His footing was steady as he jumped onto one of the many small ledged jutting out from the wall. Making his way skillfully and cautiously to the verry top ledge on the other side of the room. Arlen liked it here. No one could see him and he could pretend they were all worthless ants. Maybe their father would take them out side today? He remembered the last and first time, they got to go in momma's garden. Maybe Akumari and Ariana would be there, they had only visited once, but he liked them too. He looked down to see his mother trying to pry Tiponi and Petrar from each other. They were among the siblings he hated.

Karayan's white nose twitched ever so slightly. His eyes gazed over his siblings, finding which one was the weakest and which the strongest. The one he found the strongest would become his worst enemy. Hm... the white one almost seemed to be the weakest, staying right next to their mother... their aunt. His eyes went from his one siblings who were rolling about on the floor to his sister, Door.
Which one of these pests would possibly become his hunting partner? Possibly his soon to be worst enemy. A shrug was shown from the kit as he continued to search for which would be the best for stealth during the day and night. His tail flicked behind him as he watched his siblings and their mother.

Petrar rolled with Tiponi, laughing. With every blow she seemed to grin more, her cub teeth glinting sharply. Tiponi was strong and a worthy opponent. Though she was well aware of his hate and returned the emotion for the most part, she knew that his strength was useful to the family. To her, strength was in numbers. And to purify the number, the weaklings had to be eliminated. She would not be one of them.
Then Tiponi grabbed a hold of her ear. She let him tug on it without much fight. "Oww, that actually hurts, dear brother," she said instead, giggling behind the grin. She unsheathed her claws and prepared to strike...
Suddenly Tiponi's teeth were ripped from her ear. She looked up in alarm to see Lavona had picked Tiponi up. Petrar resisted the urge to complain and scrunched up her face, effectively making her eyes water and run. "Mommy!" she cried, throwing herself at Lavona's paws. Acting like this was so shallow, but she wanted to see how Lavona would react. Not to mention if it got Tiponi into some kind of trouble, it would be worth it. She hid her face in her paws, effectively hiding the wild smile she couldn't quite hold back.

Lady Door's snide grin returned as the weakest cub in the room, her white brother, cowered away from the rest when Lavona left her precious cub. They were all so weak. Running away because mommy wasn't there to save him wasn't what this family was about. She turned her attention back to Lavona who seemed to be gripping another of her brothers in her mouth, in what seemed to be a painful manner. Her grinned returned in spite of herself, giggling far too girlishly at her brother's misfortune.
She walked slowly toward them, watching her other two siblings as she did. The last female out of her siblings was nearly all black--just by the look of her, Door knew she was weak. And then there was her black and lighter purpled brother, glaring like he was better than the rest. She snorted contemptuously, and shook her head with a laugh--he was seriously mistaken. The only thing that kept Door from attacking her mother to escape this room was the fact that, despite her bravery and wish to be by her father's side, she was still just a tiny cub.
She finially looked back to Petrar, who was crying upon the feet of their mother, and sharply pulled her sister up from the ground by the scruff of her neck. Being as small as she was she didn't get far, and only managed to drag her sister a foot away without ever getting more than Petrar's front paws off the ground. She finially dropped her, winded and panting. "Knock it off sister, you look pathetic there on the floor." Door glared down at her sister, before smacking her across the muzzle with her outstretched paw. She leaned in closer to her sister, but kept her chin tucked down so her neck was not exposed, as she whispered in her sister's ear. "It's not worth getting Tiponi in trouble, if you're going to make yourself look pitiable, and get hurt yourself as a result, now is it?" she asked with a sadistic grin appearing on her face.

Lavona put Tiponi down and looked at her daughters like they were crazy. "What is wrong with all of you?!" She huffed as she looked at all of the cubs, "You don't bloody up your siblings, you don't threaten them eather. Knock it off, all of you. Now." A low growl made its way from her chest as she, more gently than the last time pulled Door off of Petrar. She sat the cub down a tad roughly and poked her with her nose. "Do not, I mean it, do not smack your sister." She glowered at her a moment before bringing her head back up to look at the rest of them. "Petrar, Lady Door, Tiponi, Karayan, Arlen, and Yoru, you are all equal. Do you hear that you little abominations?! Equal. Stop killing each other!" Lavona's breathing was heavy as she stood watching the cubs with her fur raised.
Arlen jumped down from the wall, one ledge at a time and stood on the edge of the tub watching his mother. What had he done? He was good. Except...there was that one time....any ways. His ears snapped to atention when she called them abominations, except he couldn't blame her for snapping. She had to go through hell every day. Wait, did she just call them equal? Gross! He wasn't equal to them! He hated them! Loathed them! Arlen could tottally kick any one of their butts though. They just didn't know it yet.

Petrar took the smack without a flinch. Though her eyes were still moist, they didn't hold a trace of sadness, and her grin abruptly turned into a snarl. "Do not slap me again, dear sister." But with a flash her expression turned sweet and innocent. "Oh come now. I was distracting Lavona. You should've used the opportunity to escape." She fluttered her eyelashes like she was the most charming creature in the world. "Surely you would like out of this room as much as I do?"
The cub moved away before Door could answer, humming a little tune as she did so. Even though Lavona spoke Petrar paid no attention. Her mother was just the child-bearer, nothing more. She was insignificant to the whole, so much so that Petrar only called her 'Lavona' and never mother. But, Petrar couldn't help but feel that little, nasty horrible tinge of guilt towards her. Could it be that she cared?
"Bleh!" Petrar spat aloud, sticking her tongue out like she had accidentally swallowed a spider in her sleep. Anger swelled in her chest. How dare she think that way? Fuming, she looked around for an outlet to her anger and spied Arlen, who had come down from his oh-so-glorious perch. Once again she widen her eyes and smiled gently like some innocent angel. "Why hello, Arlen. I thought you had died up there."

Door was just about ready to smack Petrar where she stood, to show her who was in charge, but never got the chance. She let a soft roaring growl escape her throat as she was pulled away from Petrar and then shoved into the group of her siblings. She listened to her mother's rant, and even tolerated Lavona when she prodded her shoulder with her nose. She couldn't help herself when her mother seemed to be done. "Oh, isn't that just preciouse!" she cried, her eyes glistening with excitement. "You say we shouldn't smack each other around--have you forgotten that your own brother joins us once in a while to do just that to you?" She grinned cruelly, her teeth glistening. "You know what they say, offspring learn from there parents." She winked before turning away from her, the grin still in place.
Lady Door went back to the door, pacing silently in front of it as if hoping that Numai would soon join them to whisk her away. A cub could go mad staying cooped up with siblings who hated her, and whom she graciously hated in return. All of her siblings had things going on: Arlen was busy being a frightened momma's boy, Petrar was on her way to torturing him, Tiponi was likely planning a coup, Yoru's happenings didn't concern her in the least, and Karayan was likely designing a crown for himself. He thought he was so much better than the rest of them--that was laughable. They all had issues, but the only thing that interested Door was learning from her father, and he hadn't shown his face as of yet... She stopped, glancing up at the door as if willing Numai to walk through it.

When he heard his name called, Karayan's ear twitched in his mother's direction, but he said nothing. Still, he was observing his siblings. Door seemed to be the daddy's girl of the family and Arlen was the momma's boy. A sigh escaped him as he laid down, his head resting on his front paws as he continued to watch. The slightest bit of a chuckle was heard when mother growled and then Door growled and spoke. Door seemed to be one of the strongest of the females. Was he already gaining an enemy, without even having the greatest of conversations with her?
Quietly, he stood up and began to stalk around. Not a sound was heard from him as he moved from one piece of the room to the other, farther away from the cubs to get a better look at them. He was somewhat practicing for hunting, trying to make no sound and staying out of the sight of his siblings. He thought about each of his siblings, processing their personalities and deciding which was strongest. His eyes glanced towards the door, sister was waiting for their father still. She would most likely learn much from their father, since she seemed to cling on to him the most out of all the cubs. Karayan didn't seem to care about this family. Not wanting to become close to them at all. His mind wandered as he thought about escaping this dreadful family. A vicious smile appeared as he thought of it. Maybe not replacing their father was for the better? Karayan's head shook the thoughts away as his eyes flicked back to his siblings.

"What a trick Petrar! You actually have the brain capacity to think." Arlen's slender frame sat on the edge of the tub/fountan. Its water that pumped and drained constantly was barley audible over the noise. He didn't even look at the sister sitting infront of him. No, he felt like attacking Door. Where did she get off, back talking mother like that? He huffed and looked back to Petrar with an un-interested gaze.
Lavona resisted the urge to throw Door out of the only window in the room. Almost all of these cubs were like Numai, so why did she have to look after them. She bent down to Lady Doors level and let out a low hiss. "You do not talk to me that way. I am the adult, you are the child, you do not disrespect me." Nope, she only loved them when they were asleep. But as soon as one was awake, they woke up every one else. She wasn't dealing with this any more, if they killed each other, they killed each other.

Lady Door looked away as her mother spoke to her, but said nothing. She merely snorted when she was done, refusing to give Lavona the satisfaction of responding. She turned to Arlen and Petrar, to find that her white brother was staring at her, only to look away to Petrar when their gaze me. Her brow furrowed into a glare, before she turned towards Karayan--he too was staring at her. Her glare intensified as she returned his gaze, angry that so many seemed to be staring at her in such an unusual way. Did they see her as a threat, or did they underestimate her talents the way Numai did?
She snorted then rose, walking past her siblings and Lavona to the far wall. There she jumped from the ledges the were in the walls until she reached the window ledge. Door liked to sit up here when the sunlight streamed through the summer leaves to warm and light up her fur like fire. From here she could look down on the world and imagine what it could be like if Numai taught her all she knew, made her his apprentice so she could help rule the world. Looking back inside, she could see her whole family, and it was with just one look, she knew that none of them could so the things she could. The other two females wouldn't have the capacity to become leaders, and Arlen was certainly no challenge. She would have to prove herself against her other two brothers one day, to Numai.
