The Border Worlds. A very lonely area of the Terran Confederacy. Mostly left alone, these worlds were ignored during most of the war between the Protoss, the Zerg, and the Terrans. One such world was the planet Nearafft. A small military stockpile for the Terrans, but nonetheless a military stockpile. They barely even got any news of the war or the aliens, only data. As the war went on and the Zerg continued to control planet after planet, the pact between the Terrans and the Protoss was formed. Though it was almost forgotten, Nearafft gained a few Protoss to join its defenses. Nearafft was soon discovered by the Zerg. Though it seemed like a place of little significance, the Zerg found more. It was a world ripe with raw materials, ripe for the picking. Now, they make their move. They send a strike force to Nearafft.

This is the story of the defenders of Nearafft.

Weapons, Vehicles, and Classes

This is designed mainly for easy to understand information for people who've played the game and who have not.

Terran Classes, Weaponry, and Vehicles:
Space Construction Vehicle Operator (SCV):
This class is the worker of the Terran force. Driving a specially created vehicle designed to make buildings in a relatively short amount of time provided they have the materials.

Weaponry: 2 small hand-held Piercer Pistols. These small pistols fire short spikes towards their target with a well built propulsion system. Doesn't work well against heavily armored targets or bigger Zerg.

Vehicle: SCV

~~~
Marine:
This class is the backbone of the Terran force. Armed with the latest weaponry and armor, these men are found all over the Terran space. Carry stimpacks which are drugs that enhance reflexes and reduce panic, though many users succumb to addiction.
Weaponry: C-37 Gauss Impaler. This weapon fires massive spikes towards targets with a strong propulsion system. Easily fires through most forms of standard power armor. Not very effective against most vehicles or heavily armored Zerg.
Vehicles:
Siege Tank: This Tank is built as a mobile artillery cannon. It has a main cannon like most tanks, but can deploy to launch extremely powerful artillery rounds, tearing apart most buildings and formations of infantry units.
Vulture: This vehicle is like a motor bike. It speeds around at fast speeds, launching grenades out of a grenade launcher in the front. Can also lay mines.
Goliath: This Mech-like vehicle is a walking machine gun. Armed with Twin autocannons that tear through power armors as well as weaker Zerg armors, this is mostly seen supporting Marines. Also equipped with two rocket packs for anti-air attacks.
~~~
Firebat: This class is the front line for any assault. Armed with dual flamethrowers, this class fries Zerg before they reach the person.

Weaponry: Dual Solution X-39 Flamethrowers. These flamethrowers are made from a special solution of liquids and elements to form a quick burning, high temperature flame that dissipates shortly after loss to fuel. Powered by two tanks on the users back. Shielded well from blunt objects but not well protected against most forms of Gauss weaponry.
