Loxira took a moment to relax and stretch her legs. She had been crouched before a small colony of insects. They were building an addition to their home in a rotted log. She was reminded of several communal philosophies humans had come up with before they had first left the land. Of course, her own sociological ideas nullified those. Intelligent beings, particularly dragons, simply didn't have the same behavioral traits as insects. She snorted at the idea, and decided to look around. She floated through the trees, winding in and out, much like a snake would slither, she slalomed through the woods, coming to the edge, eventually, where she stopped and simply hovered. The sun was high over the lake, which shone sapphire blue, the refracted and reflected beams forming a dazzling light display. She could break it down to it's component causes, of course, but it was one of the few things she chose to simply enjoy. She gazed across the water, letting the light wash over her as she gradually floated lower till she lay on the lake side, happily meditating on what she saw.

Loxira raised an eyebrow. The newcomer had subdued coloring and fascinating patterns of black stripes. It was becoming. She smiled slightly and moved her own tail to dip in the water with his, altering the patterns of the light as it reflected from the surface. "Greetings," she replied. "I'm Loxira."

Loxira had a sudden and uncharacteristic surge of playfulness and she splashed Moon with her tail quickly, her teeth showing in a draconic smile. She quickly returned to simply moving the water about as a tiny amount of embarrassment, and she looked at the water instead of meeting his eyes. "I was simply relaxing," she said. "A break from my studies."

She jumped just slightly at being splashed back. For some reason, she hadn't expected that response. But she grinned. Turnabout was fair play after all.

She ventured closer to the water when he complimented her, more interested now. She studied the way the water sparkled on his body. Yes, he was an attractive dragon. "Thank you," she said quietly. "I'm not often told so."

She stepped hesitantly into the water, letting the cool water rush over her feet and legs. "Today I was watching insects. It's... perhaps boring, but I enjoy studying everything I see."

Loxira wondered for a minute if she had offended, or at least bored, Moon, but then he surfaced, and she relaxed, just not realizing her body had been tense. She grinned and willingly went with him, diving under the surface.

Loxira felt her smile growing broader, enjoying the chase through the water. Moon was faster, of course. Loxira could swim as capably as any dragon, she supposed. But Moon was Udna, built for the water. Still, he didn't lose her, and she pursued him into the cave. It was cozy looking, small, but comfortable. "It's yours?" she asked. "It's very nice."

Loxira smiled, and followed his lead, pulling herself from the water and moving across the small beach. She leaned against his stone, which was warmer than she expected. Then she gave his tail a playful tug.
