Does anyone know if they are going to increase the size of guilds in GW2? One thing that really bugs me about Guild Wars is the small guild size. Even with a full guild, most of the people in the guild are inactive, so constant work is required to keep a decently active guild going. There is also a ridiculous number of guilds out there, so much that you almost never see anyone in your guild in game unless you plan to meet. IMO a decent guild limit would be 1000 players. That way it would be easier to keep an active guild going without constantly kicking people that have gone inactive.

that is very true i think it would be better for the 1000 cap or no cap at all that way u dont have to arrange a meeting and u can just pass by and form a group

That would be nice if they did. I've seen people in my guild without meeting them, so I guess I'm lucky then?

I don't see the point in a guild cap, except maybe for the Guild Hall. If there were one thousand members of the guild and they all went to the hall at the same time, that would cause tremendous lag. However, they could add districts or some such equivalent to the Guild Hall to remove that potential problem.
