Hello everyone, I thought it was about time I finally introduce myself. I've been lurking for an awfully long time, and Sydeki finally called me out on my zero post count, so I'm gonna change that.
My name is SolitarySiren, but you can call me Siren, Soli, SS, SiSi, Sibot, Ren, or Cheese.
I am 20 years old and have been hanging around Gaia for about 4 years now, crazy. But anyway, I've been gaming for as long as I can remember. I probably started out on the original Doom games way back when we still had to run MDOS to play games.
My favorite video game? Weill, that's kind of hard to choose. I have fond memories playing Zelda on the NES, and long hours were spent playing Zombies Ate My Neighbors on the SNES. I'm awfully attached to Fable and Jade Empire, both for the the Xbox. And since I'm poor, I don't own any fancy new gen systems though I cling to Bioshock like it's my baby. Oh..and Pokemon. I'm addicted to Pokemon.
As for my favorite platform, I tend to stay away from Sony, even if my desktop is a Sony computer. I've never been drawn to the PS3 due to the lack of titles for it, I jokingly refer to it as a very expensive paperweight. I suppose I'm most loyal to Nintendo. Having owned a NES, SNES, N64, Gamecube, and DS in my lifetime. I desperately want a Wii... PC is another platform I enjoy even if I don't own a lot for it. I used to play Sacred and Diablo all the damn timed, but I don't anymore. sweatdrop
Microsoft has my respect, just not the pocketbook to endorse it. I would love to own a 360, but unless I win some form of lottery, that's probably not going to happen.
I am currently playing....well, nothing actually. I'm a bit of a casual gamer who just picks up a controller when I feel like it. I'm mostly attached to my SNES, in which I have a multitude of games I routinely play that I don't care for listing right now. I was playing Bioshock until the household was forced to move apart (my beau and his friend bought the system together and now it resides with his friend)
So..yeah.
