Age: SEVENTEEN Larissa walked along the forest path, mind wandering. She didn't care where she was going; it wasn't like she had anything to go back to. She lived off of the forest, taking blood when needed.
She absentmindedly licked her small fangs. Izzy realized that she was starving, and that she couldn't remember the last time that she had fed. She sniffed the air, hoping that something was nearby.

Age: One billion centuries!... jk.
SIXTEEN. Drew sat in a tree just off the forest path, humming to the trees. He let the breeze play across his skin, a black-scaled tail twitched happily, hanging below the branch.

Izzy caught the smell of something in the air, past the clearing to her left. She turned, proccesing the smell. Human with...something.
She ran in the direction of the smell, jumping over logs and weaving around trees.
She arrived at the source of the scent, and looked up. A teeange boy with a tail was sitting in the tree next to her.

Drew heard someone approaching and scented the air to find that it was a female and wasn't human. He smiled slightly and closed his eyes. "Hello, miss. Can I help you with something?" He said quietly, letting her know he knew she was there.

Izzy jumped slightly at the sound of the boy speaking.
"Um...sure. What are you? You don't smell human."

"I'm not. And neither are you." Drew said quietly and left it at that. He wasn't going to tell her, and he made that clear in his tone. He sighed slightly as he leaned into the tree trunk.

Izzy caught the finishing tone in the boy's voice, and decided not to press further.
"You're right. I'm not human," she replied, walking over to sit at the base of the tree. True, she was hungry, but she wasn't about to take any of the boy's blood. Especially because she didn't know what he was.
"My name's Larissa, but everyone used to call me Izzy."

"Well, Izzy, it nice to meet you, and no matter how much I enjoy a vampire with bloodlust, I could always get you a deer to feed on if you like." He said quietly as he looked at her, his golden eyes shining in the shadows. "My name is Drew, and since I know what you are, you have a right to know what I am." The black-scaled tail curled up around his waist as he sat up, still looking at her.

"It's nice to see you too, Drew. How do you know I'm a vampire? And in bloodlust?" Izzy asked, completely in awe of the boy with the tail.

His golden eyes flashed in amusement. "I can sense these things. You also have no wish to drink my blood at the moment because you're unsure of what I am." He replyed with a smirk. "A wise choice. You should always be careful of what you take in. It may be deadly." He said the last word with a strange undertone signifying he was extremely dangerous.
