WELCOME

This is your introduction to the guild

~A Post:
When training you will have to make a certain amount of posts to learn an attack.
A post is 4 full lines of words, in normal or small font. I will impose this rule.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
~Creating a Profile
Creating a profile is the first thing one should do after reading this.
To create a profile go to the Profile Forum, there are instructions listed there as to what you will have to do.
------------------------------------------
~Deciding: Pirate, Marine or Loner?
This will be one of the many decisions you will have to make during your profile set up. This is one of the first choices. Marines have a distinct advantage over pirates, sea stone. Navy has access to custom sea stone weaponry. Sea Stone negates the powers of a devil fruit if it touches the users skin. Marines also can learn attacks taught by Marine officers where as pirates cannot. Marines can eventually become agents of the World Government if they wish. However pirates can form crews as well as become Warlords[Shichibukai] or Yonkou if asked as well as enter certain events. Loners have the advantage of being able to work with both the pirates and the marines or neither. They can collect bounties as well as get a bounty, become members of the World Government but cannot become Yonkou.
------------------------------------------
~Occupation:
You must choose a class when creating your profile. This step is important because it will determine certain techniques you will be able to learn. At some point you will be allowed to advance your class to a next stage leading to more specific techniques.

Captain
Swordsman
Marksman
Chef
Doctor
Navigator
Shipwright

~Titles
You can gain certain titles through becoming stronger and meeting certain requirements.
These titles include:

Marines:
Seaman
Petty Officer
Chief Petty Officer
Captain
Vice Admiral
Admiral
Fleet Admiral

World Government:
Agent
Warden
Cipher Pol
Gorosai

Pirates:
Supernova
Warlord
Yonkou

Loner:
Supernova
Warlord
Cipher Pol

You may only possess one title at a time and only one person may possess a certain title at a time. The benefit of having a title is being able to learn techniques from the previous holder of that title. Once you lose that title you can no longer use those techniques.
Anyone who meets the requirements is welcome to challenge the current holder of a title. If they win they get the title, if they lose they may not challenge that person for that specific title again.

-----------------------------------------------
~Experience:
Experience is learned through learning techniques. Each time one learns a technique the amount of posts they had to make for that technique is added to their total amount of experience.
For example:
If a technique's post length is 6, once you learn it you get 6,000 more experience points.
Every 10,000 experience points you are given 3 stat points to distribute amongst your stats.
Along with training fighting will also get a person experience.

If a Pirate or Loner engages in battle with a Marine the winner will gain 1/3 of the losers experience. In accordance with this a pirate's bounty will increase. If the Marine is victorious they may move up in rank depending on the requirements.

If a Pirate or Loner engages in battle with another Pirate or Loner the winner will gain 1/4 of the loser's experience. In accordance with this the winner's bounty will be increased.

If a Marine engages in battle with another Marine the winner will gain 1/4 of the loser's experience. In accordance with this the winner may move up in rank depending on the requirements

Note: The loser does not lose experience.

---------------------------------------------------
~Stats:
Stats are used to indicate how powerful you are. They work in conjunction with Class but give a more specific insight into a character's strengths and weaknesses.
You will be given 20 Stat Points to start with then you will gain them as you experience increases.

Strength - Physical Strength
Defense - Resistance to Attack
Speed - Quickness of character; in both reaction time a movement speed
Accuracy - Strength and Speed of Shooting; primarily for guns
Stamina - Longevity, how long you can last in battle

-Note this system of Experience and Stats is similar to that of OP biggrin B so I credit them.

-----------------------------------------------------
~Beli
Beli form of currency in the One Piece World. Everyone starts off with Beli, 20,000 and then they have to hunt or fish to get more. Beli can be used in shops to get items.
