look,im not trying to step on anyones toes but the only reason i'd say sonic youth is a better band is mainly due to what they did on daydream nation.radiohead is still my favorite but im not going to sit there and simply say that there simply say their the best band period.eh,im going to bump this one more time and check back in a few days if no-ones interested then i'll just let it die.

This is so unfair. There was once a time where Radiohead and Sonic Youth were battling it out for the rights to my favorite band. To this day Teenage Riot and Airbag have fought continuously for the right to be called my favorite song evar!

Nowadays my Sonic Youth worshipping days are over. But Daydream Nation is still the s**t and a better album than any in Radiohead's catalogue...except MAYBE Kid A.

So I give the title of better to Radiohead...just because they have stuck with me since forever and Sonic Youth have released a few s**t albums. Something Radiohead hasn't done in their career.

i wouldnt call them shitty by any means just a little off point.as for radiohead being better than them...yeah ill go with that in raindows showed me that they could make any kind of music and do it well.hell id like to hear them try a hard rock album

I really wanna see Radiohead do IDM. But I guess their next album will only tell what they do next.

And we need another Sonic Youth album. Let's see if they do something radical.

Personally, I like both bands, but I'd have to go with Radiohead being the better.

I find Sonic Youth sometimes uses to much distortion in their songs. Also, they tend to be very long, which sometimes causes me to lose interest.

Radiohead, on the other hand, could make their songs as long as they please and I don't think I'd ever get bored.

Sonic Youth has good riffs.
Radiohead, I think, is the most innovative band out there.

Then again, I'm sure alot of people would say that about their favourite band.
