I've just read this really great (kiddy book) called Skulduggery Pleasant...Anyone heard of it? Its a bit of a cross between Avatar (use of elements), ghostrider (skeleton), and an adventure to save the world with an awesome Bentley. biggrin
If anyone hasn't heard of it, I'd definitely recommend it for a quick amusing read, the second one is supposedly called Playing with Fire. (I think). mrgreen

Its about this skeleton detective and this one girl going out to stop a evil guy trying to take over the world....pretty basic storyline but I actually liked it for more than that. You should try it ssometime if you're a fast reader. ( I read it in a couple of hours)....

That book is great! It's also the 2nd most stolen book in the YA section at my library (Wicked is the first).

I liked Skulduggery. It was almost as if it wasn't trying to be a super fantastic book, even though a few YA book do. The concept of it was very clear cut, very basic. The characters are great fun, especially Skulduggery, and overall a good read.
...And because I like the word 'skulduggery'.
