Welcome one and all to the Official Tamaki Nami Thread. If you really don't know who she is, this might ring a bell. For you Gundam Seed fans, Tamaki Nami sang what I think was the third opening theme, 'Believe'. Which is one of her more popular songs. And if you like that song then you'll probably like everything else she does. Tamaki sings mostly, fast songs with rather addictive qualities and extremely catchy choruses. Her voice is very smoothe, perhaps not as mature sounding as most but she's deffinitely just as good, and very pretty to boot.

Dreaming of becoming a singer from an early age, she enrolls in a dance school. Showcasing her talents in singing and dancing along with her looks at auditions has gained her the attention from numerous people in the industry. In March of 2003, at the time of her entry into the 9th grade, she decides to move to Tokyo.
October of 2002 marked the start of a new anime program, Gundam Seed. It was a big hit, not only in terms of TV ratings, but the opening themes, first sung by T.M.Revolution, then followed by Vivian or Kazuma, were two consecutive hits as well. An emerging singer, Nami Tamaki, was selected as the third artist to sing the anime's opening theme.There is a reason that this emerging 15-year-old ninth grader was selected for this sure success opening theme. As a child, she has always dreamed of becoming a singer, and never failed to grasp the attention of the people in the Kansai area with her extraordinary singing power, sense of rhythm, and looks. Her demo tape was chosen out of 5000, for the staff of the anime program found her to be the perfect match to what they were looking for; thrill, speed, and excitement.
With her mature demeanor, it is hard to believe that she is only 16. As several inquiries have been made by the TV commercial industry, we can expect this young female artist to be successful in multiple areas, not only in singing.
