Characters
Tatsuya. picThe main character is a boy, his name is Tatsuya and he’s this quiet, shy person. He’s really nice and thinks before he acts. He’s got a girlfriend called Siyara, which he adores. His hobbies are gaming and reading a good book. He can’t cook and he doesn’t really do anything at home (cleaning, helping around and stuff). Bg: confused, not sure. Live and being normal again. Siyara. picThe other main character is a girl, Tatsuya’s girlfriend Siyara. She’s a nice fun loving girl. Unlike Tatsuya, she’s not shy at all and loves hugging Tatsuya and being with him. She sometimes calls him her teddy bear. Her hobbies are shopping and cooking. She plays games with Tatsuya sometimes. Bg: saving Tatsuya. Ryoko picRyoko is also a vampire, a nice and friendly one for a change. He's really playful and loves to help out. He goes to the same school as Siyara and Tatsuya. He doesn't really get what's the problem with becoming a vampire, but he does help.
He hasn't sucked some real blood in a few months, mainly because he doesn't want people to notice him. It can be dangerous for a mid strong vampire to live in a human world.
Bg: Helping Siyara and Tatsuya.Saku Then you have Tatsuya’s older brother, Saku.
Siyara’s always teasing him with his name, saying it comes from sakura, clearly a girls name. I doubt his hobbies or such will be that important in this book, but just to be sure, he loves puzzles, sudoku and stuff like that. He helps his mother a lot around the house and wished Tatsuya would to.
Bg: passing his final exams. Tatsuya’s and Saku’s mom Tatsuya and Saku’s mother is this really typical nice mom character.
She loves cooking and sometimes cooks together with Siyara. She thinks Siyara’s a little angel. She is a little more fragile than most people, she’s been recovered from a bad disease and she’s been that way ever since. Her husband died from the same disease ten years ago.
Bg: getting married again. Siyara’s mom Siyara doesn’t really like her mother; she’s a busy businesswoman that doesn’t make time for her family. She comes home once every month and rumours say that she’s having an affaire with her boss. She’s snobby and really proud of herself. She lectures her daughter for not having straight A’s like she had when she was young.
Bg: being more rich and happy that she already thought she was. Siyara’s dad Siyara’s dad is the total opposite; he’s a nice and a real gentleman. He has a little library stuffed with books about everything and nothing and is really proud of it.
He loves Siyara very much and also thinks Tatsuya is a nice boy. But don’t talk about him about intimate stuff, he’ll go crazy. Siyara loves to tease him with that.
His hobbies are reading, working in the garden and writing.
Bg: writing his own book. Kira Kira is a small, super adorable girl. She’s Siyara’s best friend and loves to be babied. Some wonder how old she is, but she’s only one year younger than Siyara. Her bag looks like a stuffed animal, which she made herself. She loves sewing, stuffed animals and playing with them. She’s a terrible cook.
Bg: making a new super cute dress. Elisabeth Elisabeth is a vampire, not especially a bad one. She’s pretty nice when you get to know her, but getting to know her is the problem.
She doesn’t really do feelings and she hates other vampires. She only cooperates with humans when they are in danger of vampires, or also after them.
She loves gazing at the stars, killing vampires and sleeping.
Bg: kill vampires, especially the one she’s been smelling around school (Tatsuya).

On one cold stormy night, Tatsuya gets chased down and bitten by a vampire. The vampire also tries to bite Siyara, his girlfriend. He also chases her down, but Ryoko, another vampire, saves her just in time.
He ends up in the hospital, but the doctors don’t feel safe around him.
They stated that he has been bitten by a pure blooded vampire and thus will change into a vampire to.
After a while they send him home and contact a specialist about what to do with him.
After a few days of being at home, he gets attacked by another vampire; Elisabeth. Siyara and him run away and try to contact Ryoku for help.
Ryoku comes to help, but they find out that this Elisabeth is a really strong vampire.
When she’s driven them into a corner, Siyara convinces her that Tatsuya is the victim and the only lead to a pure blooded vampire.
In Siyara her dad’s library they search through the books to find a cure for the vampire venom that’ll change him into a vampire. But not much luck. Elisabeth does give him a bracelet that’ll slow the venom down, so that the process of becoming a vampire will take longer and that’ll give them some more time.
Tatsuya goes to the hospital for a check up, Elisabeth decides to scurry along. When he’s busy in some doctors’ office, she overhears some other doctors talking about when the specialist will arrive to talk about what to do with Tatsuya.
She decides to spy on them when this ‘specialist’ comes and finds out that he’s not that found of vampires. They talk about it for a long time and he ends it by saying that it’s already taken care of.
Then you see Tatsuya and Ryoko running through the city with a weird creature following them.
You see Elisabeth looking like she saw a ghost.
And Siyara at home with a big book in her hand “This must be it!”
Cliffhanger :3
It might not exactly be this way, I've got the story in my head and just work part for part ;]

working skedule :3 * Start of the project until the summer break. Brainstorming, character development, story development and a lot of sketching and practicing. * The beginning of summer break 'till saturday the 2nd of august. Designing, sketching, inkin, erasing, scanning, editing of page 3-10. * 2-8-08 -> 16-8-08 Sketching page 11, 12 and 13. *16-8-08 -> 24-8-08 Inkin and erasing the pencil lines from page 11, 12 and 13. Then scanning and editing (putting in the text and such). *25-08-08 I made page one and two at school^^ -first day- *25-8-08 -> 14-9-08 Developing page 15 and experimenting with the screentones. Also made page 16. (yay, the intro is done xd ) *14-9-08 -> ... Straightening the panels and applying screentones (this is gonna take a while) *23-10-08 -> ... The panels and such are done, but still working on the screentones, I'm halfway by now but not completely satisfied by all of it. Two weeks and it's my birthday =D Ehhh, forgot to update =D Right now I'm working at pg 19, 20 and 21^^. I made character designs and a storyboard and no, no screentoning at all =D 8-4-09 Yay, page 19, 20 and 21 are done =D (yes, right now I consider them done, even without colour or tones :3). On with the next pages

i love vampires 4laugh anywho, i think if you really put a lot of thought and such into the story you are creating this could be an amazing comic 3nodding any sketches?

Hoora for sketches! Remember, the first page can be rethought over and over again...but if you don't take the risk of staying at least to one idea, then you are never going to start, or draw anything! xD And it will come to you as you draw the pages, so don't worry.

Yay for first pages^^.
Is it bad that I skipped the first two pages? =P I thought that they should contain a poem of some sort (I made one up but I'm not sure and not in a hurry with it).
This is Siyara when she was still young. (or, now that she is young and the next chapter will be like a 13 year leap^^)
And I know, staying at one idea is the best I can do, following my own intuition a bit. I know I could've started way sooner than this, but I'm kind of a chicken like that^^ (what if it'll turn out terrible?)
And nowwww, on with work :3
(you don't want to KNOW how much work that pg 3 took me, just cos I was figuring out how to do it)
(and kitties are damn hard to draw 0.o)
