Me and my boyfriend’s two year anniversary is coming up sooner than I expected. (July 3rd.) I’ve been so busy with college forms, orientation and graduation parties that I haven’t had time to think of or get a meaningful present. A couple days ago I spent $120 for concert tickets for us. (Rockstar™ Mayhem Fest.) So money is kind of tight right now. I want to buy him something special. I was thinking of designing a skateboard deck, of our names and maybe our anniversary, but I don’t know..any ideas? He told me a while ago that he was going to buy me a paint job for my car, for my present. Until he found out it was $500 or so. (I think that's WAY too much..) So I'm guessing he's planning on something somewhat big..Help would be appreciated. =/

What are some things he enjoys doing? You mentioned a skateboard deck- I think that's an awesome idea. I don't really know how much skateboards are, but maybe you could get him new wheels to match the deck? I'm sure that he could get the rest of the hardware from an old skateboard or something...
Guys are really hard to buy things for. I got my boyfriend a wooden katana and a tool set... so I'm not the most romantic person of all time...

He likes/does: Karate (almost a brown belt.), Guitar, Skateboarding, Music, etc.
The deck i think costs around $50. The thing is I don't know what to put on the design. I don't know if I want to put "Harrison & Nicole 7/03/06" or what. This would be for his wall, he puts his broken decks on the wall.
I also want to buy something maybe engraved or memorable..but I don't know. He's getting his license in the end of the summer and getting his mom's car I think..

Hmm, if you put that and a bludgeoned panda on a deck he'd love it ^.^
He must be hard to shop for, he'll like anything you get him.

Maybe you could just make the day special by spending some quality time. The best gifts aren't always the most expensive. I know, it's my birthday. : wink
