I went with the deal. It wasn't until I realised the wedding was a cut-scene that I clued in what was going to happen.
Still, I got two achievements for letting my cousin die. Yay. :D

i already knew what happened due to people revealing spoilers intentionally to be an a**, so that's why I didn't take the deal. stressed
I still got the money that you would've gone had you taken the deal, though.

Yeah, I was lucky enough to not run into any random spoilers—especially considering it took me a month to finish the game.

Oh...um. I'm not 100% sure, but I think after you kill Dimitri it shows up in the corner of the screen +$200,000 or whatever it was. Gives no explanation as to why you get it. But I'm not complaining, I got the Half a mil' achievement thanks to it.

Yeah, Kate dies at the wedding and then you go after that one boss guy for revenge.
It's funny though, you still get calls from her only it says 'Unknown' calling.

I'm gonna replay for the < 30 hour achievement. I'll probably need to save before certain missions too.
Can't wait to reload about 20 times on Snow Storm.

Can you have multiple save files? Like, I can start a new story while keeping my old data? Or do you start out everything completely?

You can have up to 12, but only for bed saves. There's only one autosave slot.

Oh, I see. I might try to get that achievement for the doing 10 escorts with Romans cab service if I don't have to start over completely.

That reminds me, you don't need to do those for 100%. I've checked several guides and most of them say you don't need to do them, or pretty much anything for a character who can/does die at some point. If you want 100%, just keep going on your current save and use this site to track your progress. (The link contains spoilers for anyone else here, so watch out.)
