Adrias sat back in the ghostly engine room of the Doom Train. He just sat back, staring up at the pale black ceiling, watching all the random gears spike up and down at random, looking as if they were about to break at any given moment. Turning his eyes down he looked around slowly, watching as rusted pipes work like they had never aged, newer pipes pour out azure steam into the air one moment then none the next. Mismatched gears, broken down mechanisms, out of place gauges, and uniquely placed levers of all sorts and types were strewn across every inch of engine cart. At the head of this sat a huge furnace, the very size taking up the entire head of the Doom Train. The furnace shell itself holding the shape of a mono-eyed demonic boar skull sitting upon a great skeletal hand. In all the chaos of the engine room, the most unsettling thing of all is the 'heart' of the Doom train itself. Every so often, the mouth of the demonic boar would open, spewing forth a wave of emerald flame out into the conjoining car, but before it begins this grand display, one would be able to glimpse it's 'heart'.
It is in this little engine room that Adrias has taken up a temporary residence, only ever leaving to take care of the necessities of being a human. With a sigh he slowly lifted up his hammer onto his shoulder, eying the demonic skull carefully as he raised himself up from his sitting posistion. Slowly he crouched his body into a side stance as he choked up on the hammer with one hand while holding the other out in front of him. Narrowing his eyes on the great maw of the skull he began to circulate the energy spiritual energy with in his body into his hammer and then back into his own body. Slowly the energy began to well up inside of him, becoming like a geyser with a cork on top he continued to circulate and build the energy within himself. As a result of this, runes littering his body begin to glow brightly with energy, slowly giving off small pulses of energy into the area all as he continues to circulate the energy with in his body. Carefully he watches the great boar skull, his eyes following every movement as it's great jaw rises into the air, his breath suddenly coming to a stop as the doors to it's inner fires erupt open, and in one swift movement, as the flames come spewing forth, he brought his hammer down in full swing. In that moment, upon his hammer crashing into the spewing emerald flame, the fire itself almost instantaneously redirected itself from it's original course. The emerald flames licked and burned at Adrias's bare arms, but he payed it no heed, pouring all his concentration into his hammer and energy he began to weave the fire around his hammer and himself, carefully he spun the fire in and around his body, carving runes into the air with the emerald flame with precise articulation. As his rune weaving came to a close, having filled the room with hovering runes of emerald flame he slowly set his hammers head on the ground. "with this, I bind my craft to this flame!" In one quick instant, the flaming runes around the room bombarded his body with out mercy, lifting his body into the air as if possessed by some deranged spirit, countless flaming runes crashed into his body filling him with their mystic fire. Adrias's mind was wracked with pain, so much so he could not bring himself to even scream, all he could do was take burn after burn, impact after impact, allowing himself to be put through this agonizing test as he allowed his spirit to come under the onslaught of the doom trains fire.
When the barrage of emerald fire finally halted, Adrias's body fell too the ground with a heavy crash. Both mentally and physically exhausted Adrias laid there, not daring to move an inch, all he could muster was just thoughts about regretting what he done. As he just laid there, new runs burned themselves into his skin, articulately carving up and down his back, making a intricate tribal design of demon horns from the small of his back to his shoulders. With a grunt, he slowly pulled himself into a sitting posistion against the cool wall of the Doom Train, passing out into unconsciousness.

NPC: Train Engineer
Kneeling over working on various components of the train, a nearby engineer turned around to notice what Adrias was doing. He had watched the entire thing from the moment Adrias had walked into the engine room.
"Excuse me, hold it right there!!! What exactly do you think you're doing man?!! I deserve an explanation from you right now, or I'm reporting it to the head manager of the train. Trust me, she's not gonna be too happy once she hears about this."
The man said frowning down upon Adrias. It could be seen that the man had been working in the engineer room for sometime now. Perhaps all his life. The smudges of various dark oils lied in small patches across his face and his clothing.
"Well then, its now or ever!"
The man shouted, raising his wrench in Adrias's face

"first of all...damnit..Let me sleep for blasted sake. I just went through hell 100 times over and back with that I did. " The old Adrias moaned heavily as he turned his body slowly onto his side, unable to do much else. "Listen you old tard' I just contracted myself to the furnace flame of this train. I hate to break it too you, but looks like this is going to become my new work shop. Sucks to be you" Adrias could only manage a horse laugh before breaking down into a fit of coughs "Now go get me a drink you old grease monkey, I haven't had booze in days and I am dyeing for a drink" Adrias slowly looks around the oddity that was the engine room taking a deep breath before slowly pushing himself up into a semi standing posistion only to fall back into a sitting one. "Ah s**t...thats the thing about these contracts, they hurt like hell for days on after the ritual. Damn stingy spirits"

Sage felt cold chill as he sat down and decided to get warm in the engine room of the Doom Train. Upon entering the engine room he could hear the moaning and grumbling of someone nearby. Sage paused and entered with caution, as Sage stepped in Sage looked upon an elderly man. "Hello, by any chance would your name happen to be Adrias the blacksmith?" ,asked Sage in a calm voice as he leaned against the wall. Sage gently paused his song and also letting the warmth of flame calm him. "If so we need to talk very important business sir"

Sage closed his eyes then opening only one to notice the old man still sitting there. Sage grumbled and muttered to himself for a few seconds. Then lost his patience with the old man "WHAT'S WITH YOU! YOU OLD GEEZER! DON'T JUST IGNORE ME",exclaimed Sage as he lost his temper with one hand in front of him. "The Dark Keybearer wants a word with you", calmly asing before brushing his hair out of his eyes. Then leaned back against the wall.
