So it's finally here! Please, keep in mind that this is how I make my Cyberlox. Other people have different methods.

Here are the supplies you'll need:
User Image
~ Two bags of Tubular Crin (this is a minimum for a full pair of falls)
~ Two Ponytail Holders (this can be substituted for two strips of .5 yard lace)
~ Elastic rubber bands (I prefer the clear kind)
~ Scissors
~ Measuring Tape

Step 1:
User Image
~To find out how long you want your Cyberlox, take the measuring tape and place the end, "0", where you will place your bun.
~I prefer my bun a little further back than center and close to the top.
~Remember the number where you want your Cyberlox to fall.

Step 2:
User Image
~Place the Ponytail Holder so that it's stretched slightly.
~The easiest way to do this is to use the wall hooks on a table top as shown.

Step 3:
User Image
~Take the measurement you got from the Measuring Tape and lay out your crin.
~I have preset markings on this table.

Step 4:
User Image
~Fold the crin over so that you've got the measured crin on one side of your fingers and the rest of the bag on the other side as shown.

Step 5:
User Image
~Now, cut the side of remaining crin so that it equals the measurement of the pre-measured crin.
~I cut about a half inch to an inch extra because crin has a tendency to be shorter after cutting due to the weight of the extra crin.

Step 6:
User Image
~Now, loop the crin through the Pony Tail Holder as shown.
~Make sure to get the center of the crin close to Pony Tail Holder.

Step 7:
User Image
~Use an elastic rubber band to secure the crin as shown.

Extra Tip!
~To make the ends look smooth and prevent fraying:

Step 1:
User Image
~Pinch the end of the crin

Step 2:
User Image
~Fold it back into itself so it shows as above

User Image
~This makes the ends look nicer and prevents the crin from unraveling.

END RESULT

Where do you purchase your crin from?

I've never gotten to make, or have that kind of synthetic hair before, but I've ALWAYS loved it....

>_>

I must buy some crin now ^^

Which website do you prefer to order from? Are both reliable websites, and quick with shipping?

Thanks for your quick reply ^_^

They're both reliable. I've ordered from both.

I'd suggest Cypherlox over ikickshins because you can get more interesting tubing and such all in one place. ikickshins doesn't have as much.

Hope that helps.

Nothing difficult.

freaking hot! I have a few yarn falls I wear to keep my ears warm in winter but I love these for summer.
