I say we talk about the schematics of what Neji and Gaara's relationship would be.
For instance, one reason I think they would make a good couple is that they're really similar personality-wise.
They were both isolated, powerful and rather holier-than-thou; but it was in different ways.
Gaara was isolated because he was unstable and rather homicidal so everyone avoided him.
Neji was isolated in a family that was built on cold formalities and tradition.
... I could get into the other ones, but I fancy leaving it for other people to do... Also I'm tired >>
But yeah! Taking things like this into account, had they crossed paths, what would their relationship be?
And what about after the time skip when their personalities were notably different, how would they have gotten along?

Wow...For some reason while thinking about the way their relationship would be the only thing I could think of was smut...Sexy, dirty smut.....>___>;;
I blame A Virgin Kiss.
I don't think Neji was isolated I think he was isolating himself, hence how as soon as he started to be in terms with the family he started to do more things with his uncle and cousins. Gaara on the other hand...yeah, it can't even compare.
I think the two would have more in common after TJ, since they both trying their best to fix their pain and also become someone better. Other than that I only think they both went through racism and nothing else. Neji lost his dad, Gaara lost his dad but he hated his dad, Gaara lost his mother but she just gave up on him and hated him. I think they only have a few, and I mean feeeew things in common.
Their personality is both serious, and quiet, but Neji is stuck up, Gaara isn't. Neji has a lot of pride, Gaara doesn't ( or at least doesn't waves it around like Neji) and it can keep going.

I could see them having a relationship like Deidara and Sasori, i think their personalities would crash a lot, but they could some what have some kind of bond in between them.

I sort of understand that, but at the same time I think Neji and Gaara are a lot more agreeable than Sasori and Deidara.
