"Dadddddd! I wanna learn how to fly!" Little Khet complained to the large stallion beside him. He flapped his little wings pathidicly and stomped around. For some time now the foal had been asking for the lessons of flight. He yearned to fly like his father, yet it was his father who wasn't teaching him anything!
Atum, who had been taking a drink, lifted his head and looked at his son. Khet knew the anwser, he had only said it thirty time to the foal...He sighed and repeated his anwser. "Not till your older Khet...You and your sister. Once your ready I'll take you flying but not now." It hurt to watch his own son scoff, roll his eyes and stomp a few steps in front. He shook his head and continued on to where he knew Ignacia would be.

"Khemmy! If you keep pestering Dad, then who's to say he'll wanna teach you at all?"
Nakia watched the familiar scene play out between her brother and father as she stood nearby. Not was impatient, the filly still wanted to learn and would be willing to wait just a bit a longer. Smiling, she turned and took a quick drink from the stream before lifting her head and turning towards her Khet again as the group started towards the rest of their family.
"Patience is the key, Grasshopper." She spoke this with a stern expression and a sage nod before giggling and darting away, her silver wings slightly unfolded as she ran.

'Grasshopper? What does that have to do with anything?" Khet canted his head at his sister. He was...Naive....Oh so naive at times. He shoke his head and dashed after his sister, nipping at her tail as he neared her.
Atum smiled softly and watched his two children. It reminded him of his time as a foal, annoying his brother...Playing with his friends...He didn't really keep intouch with his friends which was sad. He woundered how they were doing....He shoke his head and trotted after his son and daughter.

Nakia squeaked as a few of her tail hairs were pulled slightly. Tossing her head, the silver filly took a left turn before doubling back towards her father. Darting so he stood between herself and her brother, Nakia poked her head out and stuck out her tounge at Khet playfully.
"Daddy! Khemmy is being a meanie-poo!" The daughter threw her best sad, puppy eyes at Atum, despite the laughter glimmering in the neon depths. It was all in good fun between family members.
