okay of all the long hours of playing final fantasy VII i stumbled upon this awesome glitch with the W-Item materia which does in fact give you unlimited items as long as you have 2 or more of that item to begin with, though in technical terms it wont give you unlimited of those items it will however max out the numerous items you would like to have 99 of and then when your getting low do it over again. Though this is cheating it can come in very handy when you need A LOT of elixers for magic pots to train your materia to it's mastered lvls... //I will explain how to do this in the next post//

Okay this is how you use the W-item glitch...
//First off you must get the W-Item materia on your second raid on midgar.
//Equip the materia to one of your main party members.
//Get into a battle and when the charecter with the W-Item materia equiped's turn is up use the first of the two items, then when you are about to use the same item for the second time cancel the use then go to use it again then cancel then go to use it again then cancel.
//You can do this over and over with every item that is useable in battle to reach the 99 limit of items.

Remember you must have two of the item you are trying to get 99 of.

Thats great. Although I don't think I'll ever use it, that's amazing that you stumbled upon that. Also, I heard that it is possible to cheat and get Sephiroth in your party (although he replaces Vincent). Do you know if this is true?

Well, you can certainly use a cheating device like a GameShark to get Seph, but I don't think ther's any other way, and I don't know about Vinnie.

Yeah, I had a friend tell me that you have to use a gameshark, but I'm still not sure who he replaces if anyone. Thank you though.

Is a Seph any good at your party or does character alter storyline or give some new pieces of conversations? (I couldn't spell the another synonym to conversation. Bad me.)
I'd be curious to test it. Google ahoy.

From what I understand nothing in the story changes. If you remember the part in FF VII where Cloud and Sephiroth go to Nibelheim, and they travel to the reactor where you encounter Jenova, Sephiroth is in your party. I hear that his stats are the same as what they were then (maxed out magic 3nodding )

Yup, nothing else changes. It wouldn't change the story because it's not supposed to happen; it's just hacking into and messing around with the game's insides. It takes the Sephiroth from when he really is in your party and just sticks him back there, so yeah, his magic and stats are the same.

it probly works something like what happens when you gameshark Seymour into your party like you can do on X.

all he does is tack onto the end of your party.

oh and he also pwns EVERYTHING >.>

I don't know if you guys know this, but in the PC version of 7 there is a Vincent based glitch in the Forbidden City where Aeris gets pwned. After she dies and the Holy materia falls into the water, you guys know how they're all gathered around her to kind of pay thier last respects, Vincent's model is messed up. I wasn't even aware of a PC version of 7 until I discovered the vid for this glitch on Youtube.
