1) Introduction

Background:

A long time ago in Romania, the first guild of vampires were created. Each vampire had a special gift, but a downfall for each. For example, one had the gift of foresight, but could not walk in daylight. Another could transform into any beast but would faint at the sight of garlic or a cross. The only thing that had in common was blood lust.

The vampire guild, thinking that they were a master race, wanted to take over the world. One member of the council, Darth, opposed the idea. He spent many years of research developing a cure. It was called 'Angel Tears'

How Angel Tears works:

A vampire must drink the liquid and bite a human, injecting it into the blood stream. After an hour, the medicine takes full effect.

It prevents all death and aging except by burning. All vampires who bite one with the Angel Tears cure will die. Angel Tears give humans abnormal abilities (such a increased speed or strength) but no gift.

The only way to neutralize the Angel Tears is to get bitten by a Dhamphier (or half vampire).

Angel Tears can be spread from human to human by exchange of liquids (Kisses, blood exchange, ect...)

Here we stand:

Darth, unfortunately, was only able to give the cure to one person. Her name was Eliza. He entrusted her with all of the potion before he was killed by his fellow vampires. Eliza changed her name to 'Lea' and is hiding undercover from the vampires.

For all those confused, this is a 1600's fantasy RP. It is about the time when guns and mechanist are coming out, but aren't very popular. The main weapons are still hand blades and magic.

Bio: She was a normal girl who went to live with her uncle after her parents died. Not long after she arrived, she was tied up and given to Darth to appease the vampire and save the village. Darth injected the Angel Tears Potion into her, and gave her the ingredients, research, and bottles of the potion before he died. After she returned to the village, she was accused of being a witch and chased out of Romania. She the realized the effects of the potion and left for Rome. After completing several studies, she returned to Romania 200 years later only to find everyone already dead and realized how much time had passed, even though she hand not changes at all.

Bio: Miyu looks like an ordinary human, but really is a vampire. She is considered a captain of the vampires. She never had a family, and has no friends. Miyu is found singing a lot. Don't get on her bad side, you don't want to know what will happen. She's kind and friendly if you're on her good side, and if you're fighting her, she's cold, merciless, and cruel.
Gift: She can control fire, and she isn't affected by fire.
Downfall: Any drop of water could severely injure her, and too much can actually kill her

Bio:Roselin was originally a young girl named Ishtar born in Egypt at the beginning of the vampire race's existence. She is not a pure blood, in fact Ishtar was the first human to be sired into the vampire race. Though an Egyptian Ishtar has golden hair and pale skin, which is whys he was often out casted from her peers. An ancient vampire took pity on the out casted girl and claimed her as his own, naming her Roselin and teaching her many things. Now Roselin wonders the world searching for the man who had taken her in and loved her as his pet for centuries before disappearing with no warning. She has learned many things in her years of life...yet wishes only to regain companionship.

Bio: Born to a 'rogue'(unknown) vampire and a human. She was raised by humans, left at the door of an elderly couple when it was discovered that she was human. But one day, on her 15th birthday, she was turned. She had been outside, when a stranger, quite handsome and looking to be perhaps 21 asked of her 'parents', and unwittingly, she'd led them to their doom. As she'd taken the laundry in, she befell a horrible sight: her 'parents' had been brutally killed, and in the middl of the room, he stood, licking some blood off the back of his hand, the vampire was standing in a wash of crimson blood. And when she'd asked why, he told her, it was because they's killed his most precious person. She didn't believe him, but unbeknownst to her, he was right, for her foster parents had once been 'hunters, killing the vampires, but near the end, wanting repentance, they'd taken her in. But since he had no qualms with her, he just turned her, to make sure she wouldn't say anything about him, a vampire, being there, for she, as a vampire, would then, also be hunted. Once, she'd been pure, and innocent girl. Now, her heart was dark, filled with the need for vengeance, against the one who'd taken everything away from her. She'd always been skilled with a staff, and had been taught by her parents how to fend for herself, and to take care of herself, for they knew that one day someone would come. Her only companion, is a cat, accidently turned by a vampire, it can change into three other forms; normally a black cat with silver-blue eyes. Salem was turned into a vampire cat while trying to protect his previous master, the attacker, wanting to turn his master into a vampire -and the girl didn't want to be a vampire- leaped in front of her at the last second, and was bitten instead of his master. Angry, the vampire -accidently- killed his master, leaving him to live long after his original master. Latter, he was saved by Lei when he'd try to kill himself, and since then, has followed only her.
Gift: She can 'morph' into anything she wants, and can make it seem like she's not there, by making her body nonphysical -well, technically, she'd be wind; and she can change her physical body completely or just parts of her. Salem can turn into 3 forms other than his original cat body.
Downfall: Her power also puts a strain on her, and if she uses her powers too much, she gets sick and/or gets tired for days on end, depending on how much her power is used. Also, she can't have children, and she can't use her power to make herself healthy or better. Salem can turn into only those other forms, and gets extremely tired after using the 'demonic' form otherwise known as the dark angel form.

Roselin walked down the street in early evening. The sun had just finished casting it's last rays of pink across the sky and darkness had settled in. The 'young' girl walked alone with a small bundle of wild roses in her arms, appearing to be selling them, though this was just to make her seem less suspicious. She was a pretty little thing, looking no older than 10 or 11, a common target for criminals in the night. A perfect target, who would lure in her next meal.

Roselin looked back as she heard a carriage clattering toward her. It was coming to the edge of Merskin, the town that rested only a few miles from the border to Romania. Merskin was the town that Roselin was currently treading in. She had heard of vampires in Romania and hoped to find a certain one there, but as she could only travel by night it had taken her a long time. A thought crossed her mind..."If I can travel in that carriage by day...the sun may not reach me." She said to herself as she watched the vehicle approach.

Roselin sighed as she saw the carriage stop. "Coward." She shook her head, she should have known that the driver wouldn't go any further.

Roselin blinked at Lea before smiling. "No ma'am."

Rose nodded. "You're not likely to find one." She said watching Lea blankly.
