Is Battlefield: Bad Company's multiplayer better than campaign? I have the game, but I got kinda bored after playing it and I haven't played it since.

Practise.
I know that sounds cliche, but it's true. XD
No really... everything you just said applies to this game. You really have to keep playing and you'll learn what you should avoid doing. The game becomes a lot more fun after that.
Finish the campaign if you haven't also, it'll help you get the hang of the game.

Seems kinda simple...run and gun. Not much skill/strategy involved.

Probably why you died a lot. There's a lot of different strategies you can use in this game and some of them will get you killed (ie rushing up the hill to the crates on Ascension = death). I'm guilty of this too as it takes a few hours to get a feel for the game.
We should both get on around the same time each day and just play together (plus Andy of course). We'll all get a lot better from working with each other.
Also, you need a mic. sad

I haven't been anywhere to get one this week...The plug-in part on my old one broke off completely. I have another but the last time I tried it everyone told me the quality was bad, I guess I could try it, but I can't guarantee good quality.

Quality? On Live?
I've played with hundreds of people talking and I hear about 3 different voices. Most people sound exactly the same, and often I need to ask Andy to repeat what he said because it didn't come through clearly enough.
It's been like that since I got my headset. o_O

I meant that the headset doesn't work well, meaning, it only picks up on some of the things I say even if I talk loud. At least that's what people've told me before on XBL.
Still, I'll give it a try and hope it works.
