I'm not a very good otherkin - I haven't had a flashback for years, and I'm not so sure I believe astral projection, physical transformations and all that stuff. One of those things I was skeptical about was the idea of soul mates, something that I had heard mentioned from around.
Sadly, I've recently had my heart broken by the guy of my dreams (and that's an understatement) - and lately I found out that somehow we can read each other's minds. He's one of the two guys that have known how to pronounce my name on sight (Reyairia), and somehow I always seem to know what he's thinking about, (I even guessed the right color of a prospective character for a comic he does). He too can tell how my emotions are - on the internet.
Maybe it's just heartbroken wishful thinking and nothing really. But I've only known him for less than a year and yet I can tell all this when I can't really do the same for most of my family. (Asperger's syndrome doesn't help)
