Well, to me, it happens alot. Very often. But only once have I really fallen inlove with an anime character. I know I'm crazy, but really. I could almost see him around. In the street in town, outside my house, at school. confused
I guess it sounds strange but I belived in him so much i started talking to my friends about him and how wonderful he was and all that and they just... "What are you talking about?", "Who are you talking about?"
It was quite hard to explain it, especsially when you realize they don't belive you... crying

I was just wondering if it's just me and my sentimental mind or if it actually happens to others too? Have you ever fallen inlove with an anime/manga character? 4laugh

Well, of course there's these characters who're sweet and nice, who you might get a crush on... but there's also this kind of feeling, when you're totaly sucked up by someone.
God, it's really hard to explain it... I'm sorry, I got a little carried away there... sweatdrop

If you have ever experianced it, I guess you'd understand how I feel... or, I hope so...

I know a lot of people who have a special place in their hearts like you do: but they're not necessarilly just for yugiou characters. 3nodding mrgreen

Actually, I used to fall in love with cartoon characters all the time. sweatdrop Simba was one of them. redface Then I got a crush on Ash when I got into Pokemon. Ah, the fights with other Ash fangirls. "He follows me to school!" "He couldn't have! Because he's always with me!" ... gonk I don't miss them.
I do, as Miss Chloie said, have a special place in my heart for certain anime characters. Ash is still one of them (I yell at the tv if someone does something mean to him), and there's also Yuugi. I think they're the only two, since I can't think of any others. And I actually do imagine them following me around, along with my other characters. I just have to be careful, since sometimes I'll find myself telling my friend what I told someone in my head. I'm totally insane sane.

Ah yes. The loves and crushes. My first anime crushes were on Pokemon sweatdrop .
Ash and James were my favortie. They still are (especially James) (they also have a bunch of cute one episode guys too gonk . All the good ones never show up again crying ) sweatdrop Anyways... I'm trying to remember who it was I used to actually love... I think it was Bakura. I still love him dearly, but it used to be obsessive gonk . Whenever he would show up on TV in any episode I'd nearly hypervenilate(sp?) and I'd get really hyper and my eyes were glued to the screen. His british accent didn't help me either. sweatdrop I also produced a ton of fan art as well. I would read any BakuxRyou fanfic I could find (not lemons XP) and I looked for any fanart I could find. I would swoon to his name. I think I got so so obsessed that my heart actually began to ache because I was so obsessed redface . I had a hard time with it, but it finally passed. I still love him though razz

Seto. Seto all the way. Seriously, if you don't know I'm obsessed with him, what rock have you been hiding under?

And then there's Tsukasa from Aquarian Age: Juvenile Orion. He's so cute.... like a blond/angel-boy version of Ryou.
