-- RP log between Kepi & Kludd ((DFA and Ferret))

Content with the fact she'd somehow (beyond all logic and reason, really, taking into account the circumstances) managed to 'recruit' Karan into the Troupe, Kepi had finaly given the poor boy the intimacy, peace and quiet he'd requested. However, accepting the pianist's request had obviously plunged the smaller Koshka into utter boredom; needless to say Kepi would have none of that thought, and thus had ventured out once more.

She was intent on making this up to the boy somehow; after all, she'd not only fallen off a tree on him (and had in the process managed to bump his head on the ground hard), but she'd also ruined his favorite book by dropping a mushy half eatten fruit on it. As far as Kepi was concerned, some sort of compensation was in order. She trailed the busy streets thus, her keen golden eyes seeking out the stores and people around her as her tail swished behind her; it created a soft jungling sound as she walked along, the golden bells tied to it chiming away merrily. Hopefuly, she'd find something or other to offer Karan as a gift.

Or at least, THAT was he intial intent. Fact was though, the girl was getting distracted by almost everything she saw, her gaze never on one thing long enough.

Narrowed blue eyes looked over the assortment of trinkets curiously. Fakes? They certainly looked cheap. Kludde prided himself on being a master of... shinies. His keen eye could tell if something was fake, or if it was made of real precious metals. It only took him a few minutes to determine that all of the jewelry on this booth were nothing but junk. With a slightly disappointed sigh, he moved on to the next store.

Aah, now this one was much better. His eyes widen in delight at the sight of all the gems. They enjoyed taunting him so much... With a smirk he sneaked in, his long tail wagging back and forth slowly. His black furred hands slowly reach at the shelves while he watches the clerk, only darting out to snatch one when the elderly man wasn't looking. His tail wags triumphantly as he turns and darts down the street quickly, his attention on the bronze necklace that sparkled in his hands.

Needless to say, Kepi's attention was everywhere BUT where she was walking; it was hardly surprising when she suddenly found herself tackled down to the floor by a darker form, the air knocked out of her as she instinctively reached out with her hands to grab onto her 'offender'. It was a vague, lame attempt at keeping her balance, but it was no use. Both Koshka were sent tumbling across the walk and into an alley till they hit the wall of a building.

"Oooow....ooooow...ow," hardly eloquent, but it couldn't be helped; Kepi was rather small, and the boy that had knocked into her had been running. Hissing at the pain, she oepedn her golden eyes to look up at the boy, her features hesiating between pain and confussion. What the HELL. Of course, she didn't open her mouth to ask the obvious; hadn't he been looking where he was going? Since... well, neither had she. Instead, she offered a childish pout, "You're heavy," blunt and to the point.
PostPosted: Fri Jun 27, 2008 4:27 am

The black koshka cried out in alarm when he was 'attacked'. His limbs tangled with her's, causing him to easily roll with her into the alley. His forehead banged against the brick wall, sending sparks and stars bursting around the corners of his vision. With a groan he sat up slightly, rubbing his head. "Son-of-a-mench!" He shot out a line of curses while he rubbed, all the while still perched on top of her.

His vision finally cleared, his deep blue eyes blinking a couple of times. Then she spoke, drawing his attention down to her. "...Oh." Stares down at her, his ears perked. "What, did you run into me?" He still didn't get up... Even looked amused, as if he was enjoying being close to her. ...Well.... She certainly wasn't bad looking, and a male's mind will wander when given the opportunity....

The long string of curses caused the girl to grimace slightly, her ears flattening back as best as they could, what with the way she was being practicaly pinned against the ground. Good god, he cursed as bad as some of the Troupe members...

Letting out a soft almost self-suffering sigh (something she'd doubtlessly picked up from Karan, even after being exposed to him for merely a few hours), Kepi turned her gaze up at him, "I ran into you?" it was in the form of a question, as if she were honestly sking; what the hell. SHE hadn't been running! "Hmmmm... I might've not been looking where I was going, but /I/ sure as heck wasn't running," she seemed to hesitate for a moment then, her ears flicking slightly, as if suddenly remembering the rather awkward position they were in, "Are you going to get off?"

Despite the request, it was clear the girl wasn't uncomfortable (personal bubble? What WAS that?), and was more troubled over the fact he was heavy than the fact he was on her, "You... are heavy," and this said, she reached out with her hands, placing them against his chest, as if to push him away. Sadly, the force exherted was hardly great enough to acomplish the task. Noting the fact, the girl allowed herself a second to pout again entirely unaware of how wrong everything looked; oh, she wasn't dumb. Not really. And she wasn't naive. It was simply that her mind had truly not paused to concider she might actualy have that sort of effect on others; in a way, Kepi, despite being rather smart, lacked common sense. So much so that she would've not understood WHY it was a bad idea to play with a scorpion unless it were explained.
PostPosted: Fri Jun 27, 2008 5:10 am

"Heh..." He continued to eye her curiously, a sly smirk on his lips. His ears tilted back as he glanced away, seeming to think... But really it was just an excuse to stay in that position for a few more moments. Then he chuckled and pushed himself up, black hands brushing off the bits of dirt from his already ragged clothes.

"Well.... That's right. You weren't looking where you were going." Sure, he'd been the one running, and not paying attention... But he'd not admit that. His sharp canines flashed as he grinned again, looking back at her. "Hope I didn't bother ya too much, sittin' on ya... I certainly didn't mind. Miss...?" He holds out a hand to her, to help her up, the other tucked behind his back in a somewhat gentleman like bow. But it didn't quite work, with the slightly crude smirk, and his torn clothes... He was far from being a gentlman.

Her own ears tilted back, as if confused for a moment; in all honesty, she had no clue whatsoever as to WHY he insisted on pinning her down. It was downright uncomfortable, and god, the ground was hard and there was a rock that was grinding into the hallow of her back. Peering curiously up at him, Kepi tilted her head to one side. She seemed about ready to ask him to kindly get off when he finally pushed himself off, brushing himself off. Following suite, the girl pushed herself into a sitting position, a hand reaching to rub her back, her head turning to glare mildly at the ground as if really, it'd all been it's fault.

His words perked her attention back on him, and once more, the girl looked perplexed, her mouth opening to say something before she snapped it shut, no doubt deciding that arguing that was a moot point and probably not going to get her anywhere as it was. She was still rubbing her back slightly when he offered his hand, as if to pull her up. A blink followed, her ears perking up within the mass of brown hair that hid them partially from view, "No," she said bluntly, "It was just that I had a rock poking into my back and you were heavy; it was uncomfortable," obviously, she wasn't bothered by the fact he had pinned her, so much as the fact it'd not been somewhere more comfortable to endure.

Reaching out, she didn't even hesitate to take his offered hand, slipping her own within it, "Kepi," she told him, "Kebi Kepi," her mother had had a strange sense of humour, that was for sure, "I think I was told once that it meant Honey Tempest," allowing herself to be pulled up to her feet, she used her free hand to brush her clothes off. If she was bothered that he wasn't a gentleman... well, she sure as hell wasn't showing it. Then again, it was clear she wasn't a lady, if her actions were any indication. Her clothes were not tattered or torn, but they were used, old enough to indicate many seasons of being worn; she had enough money to live, but wasn't anywhere near rich. It didn't seem to bring her down, for the moment she'd brushed herself off, she offered the boy a smile, "You are?"
PostPosted: Sun Jul 06, 2008 5:47 am

The furred koshka helped her up, his hand remaining clamped gently around her's. "Kebi Kepi..." An amused smirk tugged the corner of his lips, revealing surprisingly white teeth. He remains standing close to her, his free hand moving to cup her wrist. "And honey tempest, you say? Fitting, with such a... sweet, passion inducing...." Pauses, looking over her, not bothering to keep his gaze modest. "...body." The hand on her wrist slowly moves up her arm in a gentle caress.

His tail twitched from side to side, still grinning that grin, his white teeth cutting a harsh line threw his deep black fur. He continues to stroke the fur on her arm as he speaks. "I am Kludde Von Broeck, Kepi... and I am pleased... very pleased... to meet you. What were you doing in the market today... and better yet, may I join you?"

A pause followed his words, the girl offering him an almost baffled look, as if she had no clue as to what, exactly, he was hinting at, "I... what?" ignoring the fact he'd grabbed her wrist (after all, taking into account the fact she'd tackled Karan down only earlier that day, the motion wasn't all that exaggerated in her mind), Kepi seemed to ponder his words, "I guess? I don't think that's what my mother had in mind though; I figure she thought I'd have a fiery personality though? I don't know. Maybe she thought it was a cute name," offering him a smile, she blinked as he caressed her, her head tilting to the side in question, her ears perking through the mass of brown hair.

Again, taking into account SHE had reached up to stroke through Karan's hair in her curiosity, the caress was perfectly innocent in her mind; she perhaps thought it was his form of apologising for having tackled her down on the floor. The fact she had no sense of personal space made her seemingly not mind having him near, "Well, I was taking a stroll; I was hoping to buy an apple or something, seeing as how they're not expecting me back at the troupe for a few hours yet," her free hand had come up to point at the street, her long tail arching up, wiggling in the air, the bells chiming playfully, "And sure you may! I was alone, Karan doesn't really want me around," her ears lowered sheepishly at that, "I think it has to do with the fact I kinna fell out of a tree on him... and ruined his book... and did this to him," demonstrating, once more, the fact she had absolutely no problem with contact, the girl raised the hand she'd been previously using to point down at the market place up to the boy's hair, running it through his hair to stroke his ears lightly, like she would've a pet cat, "In my defense, I though he was mench and then I saw his ears and I couldn't help it. He got angry though."

Lowering her arm once more Kepi blinked up at him with a smile. Well, it was nice to have someone that was obviously friendly around, that was for sure!

Kludde just stared at her as she spoke, blinking slowly. He was interested in the conversation, at least at first... But being the hormone driven male he was, after a couple sentences his mind wavered away, and her words were just none sense babbling. The koshka's eyes had settled on the girl's chest, and didn't move from it until she had leaned up to touch his ears. The contact made him blink, his gaze shifting up to look her in the face.

"...Wha? Who was this again? Karan, who's that guy?" He blinked, his ears twitching after she let go of them. Kludde didn't seem to mind her petting, in fact it made him grin a bit more. "He your fella, or somethin'?" His head tilted to the side at that, looking her over curiously. The womanizer he was, he wasn't about to steal someone else's girl. He had some morals, after all.

Obviously, she was entirely unaware that his eyes were drifting; or rather, she saw, but did not understand why. For a moment, her own eyes drifted down, her hand coming up to brush against the material of her shirt, flattening it down, as if afraid she'd perhaps gotten it dirty and that was, in fact, what he was staring at.

The close inspection however, revealed she wasn't dirty and thus after a small frown, blinked back up at him, her hand still brushing at her shirt, "He's someone I found today," the smile was back swiftly though it faultered, "Mine? Uhm... I don't think he'd appreciate me putting a collar or something like that on him... he seems to not like me anyhow," the words though left it clear that no, they had no sort of relationship going, "He was in need of a place to stay; I showed him where I lived and they accepted him there," then again, it was also clear the girl had a very lose concept of common sense.

An eyebrow is raised as she talks, this time seeming to pay more attention. And when he determined that she was not seeing this Karan guy, he grinned wider, pleased. "I... see. Well then, let's talk and walk at the same time. Get things done easier that way, eh?" He stepped closer and offered his arm to her, so that they may walk together. "Tell me more about this... troupe? What do you do exactly?"

Amusingly enough (and seeing as how she'd taken Karan's arm even when he HADN'T offered it only hours before), the girl semed happily thrilled she was being indulged, for a change, "Walking sounds good; I still want an apple!" and obviously she wasn't going to get it in that damned alley.

Taking the arm he was offerin both her own, she paused briefly, peeking out into the streets, her hand pointing down the road, "It's that-a-way; they take musicians, actors, and a whole list of etceteras," see, look at her use BIG words, "I'm a singer, and I sometimes play out in plays. Karan's a pianist, he was having trouble in his last job, and I figured I'd help him out," after a moment, the girl looked up at him, blinking owlishly, "What's your job anyhow?"

With a sly smirk, they start off down the street, his eyes scanning the streets ahead of them. Though his ears remained tilted towards her slightly, paying attention to what she was saying. He walked with a bit of a swagger, obviously confident... perhaps over confident. "I'll find ya the brightest, shiniest apple in the market, alright?"

When she pointed towards her home, he paused just enough to look over his shoulder curiously, as if he could see it from here. "Oh.. like an... entertainin' troupe. Gotcha." He looks back to her, grinning broadly. "My job? I do alot of things, Kepi... Many things. Most of which are hobbies, chores, or just things to entertain myself... But my job... my life's goal... is to please beautiful young women..." Smirks, gripping her hand long enough to raise it to his lips, kissing it.

"Really?" she seemed to brighten up horribly so at the propect, one of her hands uncurling from around his arm to fish inside her pocket; just a couple of silver coins remained though, after having bought that book earlier that that, "Hmmm.... I dunno if I can afford the shiniest one though,"

As he looked over his shoulder, the girl snapped her finger, "Yeah! Sorta like that; we travel a bit, though we tend to stick to neutral cities since the members are sort of mixed," at his explanation, she felt her ears twitch forward, curious, eager to know more, "Really? I'd never heard of anyone doing that... I thought that was what-" she paused as her hand was lifted and kissed, her eyes blinking.

If she was offended by the action, she didn't show it though; instead, the smile returned, mirth shinning in her eyes, "That seems like a fun job, but won't others get jelous if you pay someone too much attention?"

He chuckles softly. "Money is not a problem, dearest." He let her hand drop back to his arm, continuing their stroll. "I'll take care of the apple myself, as a gift to you." His head bobbed up and down slowly as she continued, still grinning softly. "I see... interesting. I'd love to see you perform sometime. Ah, I play the flute a bit myself, actually... Music is a lovely thing, yeah? Especially when associated with love."

The koshka looks amused at her last statement, and he shrugs and waves a hand dismissively. "Sometimes people get jealous... but I tend to not get involved too much, to avoid such heart breaks."

"You're rich?" her ears perked up at that, though her eyes trailed down his form, as if not understanding entirely why he'd be wearing what he was if he had the money or option to not do so. Then again, after a moment's pause, she shrugged; whom was SHE to decide what anyone could wear? After all, her own clothes were tomboyish; in fact, she didn't even own one skirt, and was rather happy that way, "Oh, that's easy then," looking up to the sky, she one of her hands off his arm, using a finger to move it to the rythm of a song only she could hea. Humming softly, she began a small, sweet tune, then sang away to it, in what seemed like a diferent language, for a few verses.

While she was missing the music, her voice was sweet enough to make up for the lack of it. After a few moments, she stopped and returned her hand to his arm,"Yeah, how's that?" her tail swished eagerly behind her as she smiled, "You should join us for a performance one day, if you can play the flute! I don't think anyone at the Troupe can!" then she paused to ponder, "Mmmm.... Well! So long it's for fun and no heart break, it's okay?"

He listened silently, his eyes falling half lidded, and his ears slowly tilting back contently. "Mmm...." Once she had finished he let out a satisfied murmur, nodding his approval. "Beautiful, absolutely... wonderful, really." Chuckles, his ears perking. "Me play with you? Bah... I doubt I could keep up with your voice, but it might be fun to try..."

He pauses then, listening to the rest of what she had to say. With a smirk he stops walking, turning to her slightly. "Oh, everything I do is for fun..." His voice drops slightly, a more suggestive tone flowing into it. "Do you like to... have fun, Kepi...?" A couple fingers start to stroke up her arm again as he watches for her reaction.

Again she reached with a hand, this time to rub the back of her head almost sheepishly, "I'm afraid that the boss can hardly get me to sit down long enough to actualy do a full song; I've got a bit of a concentration problem," almost as if to emphasise the words, no sooner had she voiced them, that a butterfly drew near, and it stole her attention entirely away from him, her eyes following it eagerly till the insect vanished. At his words, her head snapped back towards him, "Mmmmmm?" a pause then, "Oh! Well, I'm sure youd do great, and it's all for fun regardless!"

Once more, she seemed to distract herself with the people that they walked by; even the buildings were fascinating, so it wasn't till he spoke again that Kepi turned her head, "That's the way it should be; people need to learn to enjoy themselves more," entirely missing the suggestive tone in his voice, the girl's brows lifted to hide under her bangs, "Of course I do!" the smile she offered back at him was brilliant, her tail arching up, her bells chiming. As his fingers came to stroke up her arm, her nose wrinkled, almost in childish glee, a small purr released; she always enjoyed it when Anja would stroke her hair and ears. Physical contact was always comforting, and as far as she was aware, Kludd was being nothing other than horribly nice to her. Optimism at it's finest, that's for sure.

Kludde just... stares at her for a while, his ears slowly drooping down to press against his head. Alright, it was official. This girl was mental. His eye twitches from his flustration, and after a moment he sighs heavily, one hand moving to rub his forehead. "....Oi.... How old are ya, Kitten?" Maybe she was just young? Oh god, maybe he was hitting on a child? But she didn't look like a child! Gah!

Mental was... probably not the right word, but god damned near it in some ways. An ear flopped down to the side of her head, as if wondering what he meant for a moment, "17?" after a moment, she perked her ear back up, "What does that have to do with anything?" of course, what poor Kludd didn't know was that the girl had been brought up with several brothers, back home, and mostly due to that, had been treated like 'one of the guys' by them.

To the point she'd lost all sense of what a personal bubble was. This didn't mean she'd not been taught as to about the er.... birds and the bees; simply that she'd never concidered herself in such a category, and thus any and all implications as to her person went straight over her head, "You look sick. Are you upset?"
PostPosted: Mon Jul 07, 2008 9:12 am

He face palmed, his hand slapping his forehead and slidding down it slowly. So she was just mental. Great. With a small sigh he shook his head, moving his arm back within her grasp. "No, no... I'm perfectly fine." He smiles at her, more of a genuinely friendly expression than his past sly suggestive one. He'd certainly not get into her pants... But some other dumb sod might try to take advantage of her. And at this point... Kludde really did think she had a few screws loose.

Either way, he was still determined to get her that apple. "Let's see..." He looks around again, his tail twitching from side to side as they walk. "Aha!" He pulls her over to a small stand that sold fruit and vegetables. "These look... promising..."

Her brow arched at the facepalm motion, blinking slightly at him; while he though she had a few lose screw, she was probably thinking somewhere along the same lines are he was. Moody... what was wrong with him? "Are you sure?" her attention though, proved to be a life saver for no sooner did they get to the stand that her tail twitched; this was what she'd been aiming to get from the marketplace in the FIRST place.

Letting go of his arm, the girl leaned down to sniff the air near the fruit; the motion was done from far enough that it was still polite, "Mmmm.... are you sure you can affod them?" again she dug into her pocket, counting what little she had before frowning; there was no way she could afford these ones, and Anja wouldn't be paying her extra till the following day.

"Yeah, it's fine, Kitten." He grins and turns to her, pointing a bit down the street. "Why don't you go wait over there, eh? I'm gonna have ta concentrate to find you the perfect apple, after all. I'll meet ya over there with it in just a bit, yeah?"

There seemed to be a brief pause, as if the girl were hesitating, and here eyes as innocent as they'd been only moments before shone upon him with the spark of... something or other. However, then again, it might've just been imagined, for no sooner had that spark appeared, that it vanished, replaced with a soft smile, "Okay," and that said, Kepi turned around and followed his words exactly, padding away from him. She did, however, turn to look mildly over her shoulder as if pondering, but if he was concentrating on the fruit, it was likely he didn't notice.

Once she'd gotten a short distance away, she leaned her back against the wall of a bulding, her eyes seeking up the sky as she waited.

He watches her go for a moment, then turns back to look over the assortment of fruit. For a minute or two it does seem like he's innocently looking over the apples, choosing just the right one... But of course, he had no money. Not that that would stop him... He stepped a bit to the right and brought his leg up when no one was looking, kicking hard at the thin wooden leg that held up the table. It buckled and cracked, fruit spilling out onto the ground in a multi-colored tidal wave. While the man tending the booth fussed over the fallen fruit, Kludde skillfully plucked a few apples from the pile, then turn and ran, tucking them into his jacket until he was a good distance away.

"Got em, and one for myself." Smirks victoriously, holding the shinniest and largest apple out towards her.

She'd been busy staring at the sky, in all honesty, her foot placed against the wall behind her as she hummed away to a random tune she'd heard one of the troupe members compose; she was likely trying to figure out some words to go along with the music when Kludde showed up once more. Her finger which had been waving in the air stilled and the frown that she had sported as she concentrated vanished, melting into a smile, "Oh, wow, they ARE likely the largest, sweetest looking apples I've seen in a long time," pushing herself away from the wall, the girl stretched her hand to take the offered fruit.

For a moment, it looked like she was going to say something, but then, instead, the girl made a soft noise at the back of her throat, lifting the apple to bite into it. A small purr escaped her then, "Tasty," whatever she'd been thinking was either ignored, or set to the back seat for the time being.

The smirk widens when she takes a bite, sharing in his victory. And great, she didn't suspect a thing! Or so he thought... His ears twitched as he bit into his own, holding the third apple in his other hand. "Reckon you can take the other one back to your fella friend, eh? Maybe it'll cheer him up a bit... Sounds kinda grouchy to me.

Amusingly enough, the girl was actually a lot smarter than people gave her credit for; fact was, Kepi usualy never found it necesary to display it. Why bother using the energy when she could just go through things and events by pure instinct? That alone made her an interesting soul to be with, spontaneous to a fault, doing that what she pleased when she pleased, however, even despite the happiness that shone perpetualy through her features, if she concentrated long enough, she was prone to small rounds of wisdom. They were few and in-between, but they showed an underlying intelligence she didn't care to display on a normal basis.

A chuckle was offered at his words, his fingers coming to stroke at the red skin of her apple, "I highly doubt he'd like that, seeing as how I kind of dropped a mushy fruit on his favorite book earlier," she wrinkled her nose at him, "Kind of a reminder," after a moment, there was a small gleam in her eyes, the smile still present, "You should eat it; I bet the ... exercise tired you out," and this said, she bit into her fruit once more, her eyes looking off innocently towards some random bird. Of course, from that alone, it was hard to figure out if she'd seen through him or if it'd been coincidental, what with the fact she almost bubbly in nature, "Besides food is better when you share it with someone," if she'd found him out though, she didn't look bothered in the least.

A puzzled expression crosses his face, and for a moment his ears tilt back as he looks her over slowly. Perhaps she wasn't the innocent nut case she seemed to be...? Or maybe she was. He looked troubled for a moment, but then just shrugged and took her advice. The apple was savagely ripped into, juice dripping from his chin as he pretty much inhales both of the apples.

Maybe she was, maybe she wasn't; all in all, it was hard to tell, and she wasn't really making much of an effort to tilt his interpretation of her one way or another, "See? Isn't it good?" leaning back against the wall, she smiled at him, taking another bite. However, she paused mid bite as an idea visibly formed in her mind. Grinning, she shot out her hand to grab his wrist, "Actualy, come with me!" and this said, she offered him a tug, hoping he'd allow her to drag him along.

Tugging him on, she walked down the streets, apple still in one hand till they reached a dustier road; there was a fance that offered a rather nice view of the houses bellow and the sea, slightly further away, "It's a nicer place, isn't it?" releasing his wrist, she jumped to sit herself on the small fence with grace, her hand coming to point down at the house bellow, "The troupe's somewhere around there; you an't see it from here thought."
