Rufus Wainwright.

I LOVE HIM SO MUCH.

He's even done a cover of Across the Universe and has performed with Sean Lennon =o So he's got a lot of plus' to him.

Here are some videos from him;

Poses - http://youtube.com/watch?v=2S8yLu-wer8&feature=related

Grey Gardens (Live) - http://youtube.com/watch?v=Cdvne96nrzs&feature=related

The Art Teacher (Live) - http://youtube.com/watch?v=M1ReFah2lCQ&feature=related

And you guys are capable of finding other videos by him.

Okay and now for like, my favourite band.. Interpol.

Rest My Chemistry - http://youtube.com/watch?v=BgROCTkVHJY

Evil (probably their most popular song) - http://youtube.com/watch?v=l_OcR0fbf6g&feature=related

Obstacle 1 - http://youtube.com/watch?v=jkBAUqp6NKg&feature=related

I was heartbroken when I found out that Rufus is gay. As for Interpol, I am somewhat terrified by puppets. Count Von Count excluded. Which makes Jim Henson films really creepy - especially when they've got David Bowie dancing around with them. Noooooooo! eek

Anyhoo, the Talking Heads are probably my current favorite.

This Must Be The Place (Naive Melody) <----my favorite song

----

Annie Lennox is my favorite female performer (includes Eurythmics). As you can probably tell from my signature....

Little Bird:

----

And of course, the one and only David Bowie. I want to jump his gun. sweatdrop

Starman (live):

For get the studio version. The Ziggy Stardust tour version was SO ******** AMAZING.
And any song about aliens is fantastic.
A ten-second bonus clip from The Man Who Fell To Earth - Bowie plays with his nipples!

----

Flight of the Conchords is one of my favorite TV shows. I own the complete season DVD.
Bret You Got It Goin' On:

----

Ember Swift is a Canadian musician who I met a few years back when she performed with my friend's reggae band in Michigan. I have her Disarming album, which is fantastic. She's very nice, but her girlfriend Lyndell was absolutely hilarious and chewed out the drummer because he signed my CD with a smeary pen.

Frank Zappa rocks.

^I am going to turn Rufus straight. Trust me.

Plus, you can't have a straight guy who is that amazing.

OMG, I love Talking Heads! Haven't heard as much as I'd like, though.

My current obsession is Pink Floyd, as some of you might already know.

Comfortable Numb, at the Live 8 Concert:

Run Like Hell, live in 1980 (the quality kind of sucks)(don't ask me why Roger Waters keeps making cackling noises. i don't know!)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XYd6mCAcQw8

And there are tons more Floyd videos on YouTube. For the record, none of the Floyd videos on YouTube are fantastic. But some of them are pretty good. The music is generally better by itself, I think.

I also am getting sort of into The Who.

Baba O'Riley:

Yeah. Most of my favorite music is older than I am.
