I... don't think religion is going to come into this, that can get messy really quick. If you like you can go by earth religion for yourself, but lets not try and make it a theme, yes? xD We've already got military threads set up, thats close enough.

I think that organizing a thread to keep track of the IC groups that pop up might be a nice thing to do. >> Not only in that it gives people an overview of the world and lets them see what player factions have formed and what stances they've taken, but it helps out those who need/want to have their characters be a part of a gang or township or whatnot. It doesn't have to be a complicated deal; just have people submit their group's name, purpose (like, I know there's an acting troupe and I know there're pirate crews, and I heard talk of a vigilante group maybe?), allegiance (Mench/Koshka/Neutral), alignments (since a group of outlaws probably won't take Lawful Good characters, just like lawmen wouldn't want Chaotic Evil characters), and maybe a short blurb about their history or goals. Alternatively, instead of setting up and maintaining a thread with active groups, a subforum could be made with a posting template to allow people to make and update their own group's threads, which means people can either stick to the bare minimum or be more detailed and keep track of memberlists and the like, and also that inactive groups will get bumped down by means of natural selection.

Theirs some costume ideas posted in the tutorials thread <3 if that's of any help...other than that googling Victorian Era Clothing is a huge help, steam punk as well, you can even find costume jewelry and goggle ideas for it on ebay. <3

As far as the shotty thread goes, I think if someone can't finish their shottied cosplay in a week but has posted WIP's in the thread to show significant progress, they should not have to reshotty after a week. It seems like everyone is pretty good about showing off WIP's in the thread for the most part, so maybe if posting a WIP could be kind of like an automatic reshotty? And that a person would only have to worry if there was no progress made for a week, regardless of when they first showed the cosplay?

I just worry that it might become an issue in the future if someone gets a character half-finished and then misses the end-of-a-week deadline because of circumstances beyond their control. I'm all for time limits, so people can't just claim one and sit on it indefinitely, but I also think that if someone shows that they're working on it and maybe just taking longer than a week maybe because of job or school or vacation, then there should be some extra insurance there to guarantee that they would be allowed the time to finish without worrying about someone jumping in (inadvertently or maliciously) to snap up a cosplay.

Be nice to see some pet bases more suited for the Baylk's world - things that can also live in the water. Things like fish, turtles, eels, crabs, squid, octopus, seals, otters, etc.
